I was unfortunately involved in a hit & run collision, on my Harley Davidson motorcycle. I went to a few repair shops, but experienced both overpricing and a lack of commitment. I was referred to Dirtbag Customs, in Martinez, by a friend. I met with the owner, Vince, who was extremely knowledgeable and showed compassion for me both as a customer, but more importantly as a fellow rider. I decided to get my bike repaired at Dirtbag Customs and was extremely impressed from the start. Vince was extremely helpful during the entire process, especially in dealing with my insurance adjustor, who was extremely difficult and trying to cut corners in repairing all the damage. Vince remained in contact with the insurance company and provide me with weekly updates. Vince was relentless as my advocate and was able to secure the agreement to conduct all the repairs. Vince also helped out tremendously with the final rebuild vision. The Dirtbag Customs shop is an Ol’School establishment who have outstanding workmanship and will remain in your corner long past all the work is completed. Vince, I appreciate your dedication and friendship. I am extremely pleased with the work and support from the Dirtbag Customs, his talented team and highly recommend it to friends and family.

guys here are cool and easy to talk to. always have been treated with respect even though my bikes aren’t custom jobs by far and usually have dust and road grime on it which is fitting for how many miles i rack up each year. Never had anything serious done here but they make some serious customs if that’s your thing.

to the dude with the cbr1000, look at the bikes here man, they are all big Vtwins not street bikes. This is not a shop for you. Try BRG Racing in pacheco, they handle slant bikes. Calling the right place will get you better results.

Now to the shop.
The workmanship is top notch. What you ask for is what you get. Vince can get you a deal on pretty much all parts and is most certainly fantastic to his regular customers. I have been their loyal customer for few years now and am not planning on going anywhere else. The greatest thing about DBCis that they don’t treat you like a moron when you ask a ton of questions or get stuck in a middle of DIY job on your bike. Always pleasant and great to deal with. Another thing — they don’t charge for advise or doing a quick check when you walk-​in with an issue. Hell… I’ve been charged for swapping a bolt at another shop long time ago.
I highly recommend this shop regardless of what you need to get done on your bike. Enough said. haters will hate, but all of the real customers know that this is a quality local business.

I have been into Dirt-​Bag cycles at least 3 – 4 different times and each time received the same Arrogant, stand-​offish, negative attitude, which is really unfortunate, the owner seems to really have a CHIP on his shoulder all the time, as if he is upset with the world or maybe it’s just me and my kind, «LOL». Seems to be another Homeboy hang-​out,
I actually sent a couple of perspective customers in without telling them about my experience and 3 of 4 said they would not go back, neither will I
