Mike Hammer returned our phone call within an hour or so, and was professional and courteous. He asked initial questions to pre-​diagnose what might have been wrong with our A/​C, and was able to schedule an appointment for us within an exceptionally reasonable amount of time. Arrived and was very knowledgeable and clear in what we needed for our residential A/​C to function. Very pleased and would hire again (hopefully won’t need the service though! :))

Our A/​C stopped working. We called Hammer’s. Mike came out the same day and fixed the problem in 30 minutes. Friendly, prompt, trustworthy service. Reasonably priced, too! Can’t ask for more than that! Will definitely use Hammer’s Heating and Air Conditioning again!

I just had Mike replace my old (20+ years) heater and install new air conditioning for my home. He did everything in 2 days. I am very pleased with the results. Mike took the time to explain my thermostat so I am comfortable setting it and controlling the heater and air. I found Mike a few years back when my heater stopped working. He told me it should be replaced and I asked him to just «make it work». And he did! He also charged a very reasonable fee for doing so and picked up a carbon monoxide monitor for me. Given his awesome service and rates at that time, I called him when I was actually ready to replace my heater. I highly recommend him.

If you need your heater repaired or replaced, Mike Hammer is the man to call. He has a pleasant and professional demeanor. He is reliable and honest. Very easy to work with. He repaired my heater a couple of times, and finally after about three years it had to be replaced. I gave him a budget and he searched and found one in my price range. Thanks again Mike. AC Unit went out, Mike arrived right smack on time within 5 hours of our call. Repaired 24 yr old unit for $ 165 within 15 min., didn’t try to sell us $ 8000 new one. Is SUPER friendly, calm, polite, educated (a Cal Poly San Luis Obispo grad — great school.) Checked for any issues to avoid future problems. If you’re looking for old fashioned integrity, and excellent on time work at a more than fair price — call Mike.

This company was referred to me by a friend’s contractor. I called Mike and he made an appointment for the next day. He showed up at exactly the time we agreed upon — not a three hour window! Mike Hammer performed service on my furnace. He charged a fair price and fixed it within an hour. Another local company had looked at the furnace and quoted over $ 1,000 to make the same repair that Mike did for $ 200! It was clear, after Mike looked at the furnace, that the other company was making things up to try to overcharge an unsuspecting and desperate customer in the midst of winter. Mike is an honest professional. He didn’t try to upsell. He provided good advice. I strongly recommend Hammer’s Heating and Air Conditioning.
