Jac’s Hardwood Floors

Jac made sure our floors were perfect. He made things right even when they went wrong. Good guy and glad that he took the initiative to make everything work. Thanks Jac.

Jac installed hardwood floors on the entire downstairs of my home and did a super great job. I appreciated that he showed up on time, he completed the work in estimated time frame, cleaned up everything very well. But those items are not the most important in my book, when investing several thousand dollars in quality materials, I want someone to do the work to perfection and Jack did that. He was very careful in fitting the flooring around the irregular stone on the fireplace, making sure thresholds were seamless, flooring was even. He’s been doing this work for years and that experience is what produces a work of beauty. Thanks Jac. Great job.

I called Jac on Tuesday of this week about a small repair project on our hardwood floors after a dishwasher leak. By Thursday afternoon, the project was completed and it looks great. Jac even took the time to fix a few other minor problems that have bothered me since the floor was initially installed eight years ago. He was prompt, fun to talk to, cleaned up after himself and his price was reasonable. All in all, highly recommended!

Jac was a complete PRO from day one! He is courteous, so patient while explaining the process and options, and made it so apparent he just wanted us to be happy with the final result. He quoted a fair price and timeframe and then finished EARLIER than expected! Who even does that?!
The workmanship by Jac and Ryan is such high quality, they left our home clean and without a bunch of stain all over the baseboards, and the old 1940’s wood floors are gleaming and back to their old glory. We cannot recommend them enough — seriously, you can trust your floors to these guys and you’ll be sooo glad you did!
I’m just glad he could squeeze us into his schedule, all of our neighbors already knew Jac and it seems he’s the one the locals use for their floors. What a perfect welcome to our new life in Martinez ;)

Our family just purchased a home in Concord. We decided that, carpet was not for us. The previous owners did not take care of the carpet. My husband pulled the carpet from master bedroom and another room. Oh boy! What did we get ourselves into… Make long story short we thought for sure we would have to replace the whole real wood flooring. Jac came and gave us hope. By far he had the lowest quote out of three quotes. He was not pushy to make us sign the contract right away. He was motivated to start right away. He gave us a completion date. The floors look amazing! They look brand new. The restoration and repair was unbelievable! Jac finished the job two days before expected, which allowed us to move in sooner than later! Thank you Jac, you are defenitely a master in your craft!

Wow! Jac did a fantastic job on our kitchen/​dinette area. When I called him he returned my call promptly. He came over and looked at my job, which required removing an existing linoleum floor and the underlay. Then replace it with red oak top nailed and 4 coats urathane. He gave me an estimate and we discussed him coming to do the job while we were on vacation. I gave him my keys and code for the alarm.
When we returned home he had put all our kitchen furniture back and put felt pads under all corners of our kitchen table and chairs, stove etc. The floor came out much better than we could have hoped.

I just had my hardwood floors refinished by Jac, and he did an amazing job. I can’t imagine them looking any better when they were first put down 50+ years ago. Jac has the pride in his work of a true master craftsman. He was also the ONLY one of the 3 quotes we got that was willing to hand scrape every groove between the boards AND put 4 coats of sealant down. None of the other companies would do either! I also just discovered a couple days ago that he sanded and sealed the threshhold of our front door without out us even knowing. What a guy! Can’t recommend him enough.

This review is long overdue. I can’t say enough about what a great job Jac did on my floors! I hired Jac to install my floors over the summer and they are absolutely fabulous! When i walked in to see them for the first time i was overwhelmed with what a great job Jac did! I expected to find flaws but couldn’t! He did an excellent job!
Not only is Jac an awesome hardwood floor man with very reasonable prices, but he is an honest, friendly and an all around genuine person. Anyone thinking of putting in floors should really give Jac a call. I shopped around the other floor stores and their installation prices were ridiculous. Jac did a great job without the headache and paperwork of dealing with a large company. You just deal with a real person and Jac produces real, quality results.

Jac refinshed our 60 yr old hardwood oak floors, throughout the house and did an OUTSTANDING JOB! They looked awesome as they had become worn through normal wear & tear through the years. He did superior work and the place was clean and neat afterward. He was extremely professional, and was punctual with his appointments. I would recommend his business to family & friends.
