The Garden is a child development home, preschool and daycare that serves children from infants to toddlers. Our program is focuses on the interests of the individual child and meets their developmental needs through respectful, responsive care giving and curriculum planning. Children thrive in our mixed-​age setting where they are able to learn from and teach each other.

History

Established in 2014.

The Garden was started in 2014 by Melissa because she saw a need in the early childhood community for care that was tailored to the needs of the individual child. The Garden offers an environment where all children can learn, play and grow in their own unique way.

Meet the Business Owner

Melissa C.

Business Owner

Melissa has a BA in community studies as well as 32 units of continuing education specializing in Early Childhood Education. She been an early childhood educator for over nine years. Though Melissa has been a center director as well as a teacher her true love is working closely with children to help support their emerging skills. She is CPR and First-​Aid certified.
