Dang… fell for it again! Just ordered a large, thin crust pepperoni pizza. Unfortunately the«cheese» was not edible. I think it was melted cheddar or something. If you like this«cheese substitute» I apologize but I am not a fan. I guess for as long as we live in St. Louis we will either make our own pizzas at home or be a devoted Domino’s customer. …oh yeah, and I am not on government assistance, just the granddaughter of Italian immigrants.

Great pizza joint. Their thin crust is awesome. Oh yeah. Monday specials too. 10⁄10.

The food is super amazingly yummy and prices are even better. All these other dip fucks saying anything bad is obviously on government assistance and just hates the world in general because they can’t buy love with food stamps.

INEDIBLE! Actually the WORST pizza I have ever tasted. EVER! The crust tastes like cardboard, the sauce is almost nonexistent and the cheese is leathery and fake-tasting. We tried — really tried — to eat it but it was so gross we could only eat a few bites. Also, don’t fall for their low prices or specials. I totally fell for the«5.55 for a large cheese pizza» special — that was my bad. But what happens is they charge you $ 1.50 for EACH topping, plus a $ 3 delivery fee, plus I’m not gonna be an ass and not tip the delivery guy, so after all that my INEDIBLE — like seriously, we now have to order a whole other dinner of some kind — pizza ended up costing me $ 14. I called this location to try to give them another option besides getting a shitty Unilocal review from me. Like, you know, getting my money back. But all the manager offered us was STORECREDIT. Why would I want store credit for INEDIBLEFOOD? That makes no sense! So what, I’ll come in tomorrow and get another pizza I won’t eat? Seriously, no one stands behind their products anymore(except Vitamix). Also, it’s clear to me that most the«reviews» here and for other Cecil Whittaker’s locations were written by employees, even touting specials and giving links to their Facebook page. It’s like they didn’t even try to make the reviews look real. But I guess the joke’s on me, because now I’m out $ 14, hungry, and grouchy.

I have a friend who tries a minimum of three pizza places a day when he travels to other cities. He investigates who is known for what, etc. He found out that I was heading to STL and told me I had to try Cecil Whittaker’s. I looked them up and found a location near my hotel and ordered one for pick up. I had no idea what St. Louis style was and still really don’t except I know it is good. This pizza was delicious. It is a thin crust with some kind of sauce unlike any I have tasted. We love it! Highly recommend it if you are looking to try St. Louis style.

Love, love, love these people! I live between two Cecil Whittaker’s and have my choice of which to use. However, I will drive out of my way to give these guys(and gals) my business. They are efficient and produce a good pizza(traditional St Louis Style thin crust pizza). And if it wasn’t affordable enough, they have great specials all the time.

I am a huge fan of Cecil’s and order it normally once a week or so. They have very good specials here and the pizza always tastes great as well. The salads here are very well and their house tastes very good. Just recently they came out with Signature Pizza’s and while I have only tried the Buffalo Chicken Pizza I really enjoyed it. The chicken wings here are pretty good and come with your choice of 7 different sauces(I enjoy the Spicy Mustard the most). Along with already reasonable prices Cecil’s has numerous coupons and great deals on Facebook. If you«Like» their page at you will see specials they post on a weekly basis. I really like their Wacky Wednesday deal where you can get a large cheese pizza for 4.99. I normally recommend you get it with extra sauce.
