History

Established in 1979.

Clarkson Eyecare was founded in 1979 by Dr. Lawrence Jehling and Dr. Lynette Lui as a single practice on Clarkson Road in Ellisville, Missouri. Today, Clarkson has expanded to more than 60 offices located through Central and Eastern Missouri and Southern Ilinois. In 1999, Clarkson introduced its first state-​of-​the-​art LASIK surgery center located in Chesterfield Valley.
