Strictly Pediatrics

I’m extremely impressed with Strictly Pediatrics service so far! I inquired about child care services for my 1 year old son who has epilepsy, and the women who answered the phone quickly transferred my called over to Ellen, who is the director of medical services for Strictly Pediatrics. Ellen was very pleasant. I didn’t have to ask her tons of questions because she was very informative, and she made me feel very comfortable about speaking with her about my sons medical history. The fact that there is an in– house nurse on hand during child care hours made me comfortable and confident in my decision to pursue this center. Also, the teachers and nurses at the center all have dealt with children with disabilities before; and provide an actual curriculum for children of various ages. The prices are a little on the steep side, but if you have insurance; they accept most plans and even state provided health insurance! I’m looking forward to our first visit.

Let’s face it. Daycare is no fun. Regardless of where you go, you are dropping a hefty bag of money, and you are basically leaving your wonderful kid with folks that you hope aren’t crazy.
Fortunately, the people at Strictly Pediatrics aren’t crazy. In fact, they are all lovely people, and we always feel safe leaving our child there.
This place is so much more than just a drop-​off daycare. We actually think of it more as a school. There are classrooms for each age range, and plenty of staff to handle the size of their class. They truly focus on developing a chld’s learning ability, and I really get the feeling that they care about each kid that walks in there.
Strictly Pediatrics is a secure building with keypad entry and a front desk that is constantly occupied. The building is clean, and everything is organized. We get newsletters emailed to us, and communication never seems to be a problem. Plus, there is an in-​house medical room that offers nursing care to children with medical and/​or developmental needs. So there is always a nurse in the building if the need arises.
I’m also a fan of how they transition a child to a new room as they get older. They just don’t cut them loose and point them to the new door, they actually make sure they get acclimated with the new children and teachers.
And here’s the kicker: the price isn’t ridiculous. Don’t get me wrong, it’s not inexpensive, but for the type of quality they have provided so far (almost 2 years), I would expect the price to be much higher (but please don’t take that as a challenge, Strictly Pediatrics).
I would (and have) recommend Strictly Pediatrics to any family that is looking for quality daycare.
