I used Moore Movers to move my father’s furniture in the past and they were polite and told me they specialized in moves for seniors. When we bought a home in Bellingham and planned a move from Arlington, I again called Moore. The move was to take place in two phases because we had incorporated my parent’s belongings into our home and we were inundated. On moving day the movers arrived with an «attitude» and took over the move, ignoring our plans. They emptied a cabinet of 100+ year-​old china and stacked it on the boxes we had packed to move! (Yes, I have pictures.) So, those boxes never got moved. They emptied the freezer portion of a garage refrigerator, leaving the meat on the garage floor where it spoiled. They did not compensate us for that loss. They left before other boxes were loaded and told my husband he had to lead them to the new house. That left me, a senior with a broken foot, to load our van with two large, heavy dog beds, the dogs, and all of their materials. Once at the new house, the movers asked where each item was to go. I asked that they put the bedroom furniture in the master bedroom and I would come up when it is all there and tell them how I wanted it arranged. They refused saying that once it is set down they will not move it again. I had a stair chair in the home that we were moving out of, which they had seen, and I was a handicapped senior with a broken foot. They had me running up and down the stairs for each piece of furniture. By the time they left I was in excruciating pain and very angry. They did nothing to accommodate me like even bringing like things inside somewhat together. I have moved over twenty times in my life, and this was a nightmare I would wish on no one, especially a handicapped senior.

We have never used movers before. Since our kids AKA free labor, have grown up and moved out we were not looking forward to asking friends to help us. Hoping they show up and then buying beer and pizza was just stressful. We got a great estimate and figured when all was said and done it would cost about the same as beer and pizza and more beer for friends that really would not want to be there. We were told they would be there at 8am on moving day. Now I am basically a cheap guy and knowing that I was laying by the hour I was prepared to keep these guys moving. They showed up precisely at 8am and by 8:02 they had ramps down and were literally running up the driveway for their first load. They were fast considerate and careful. They moved us out and into our new place in about 4 hours! These guys were kicking some butt! I will never move myself again and would recommend this company to anyone looking for a local mover. There is no way to express how stress free and enjoyable these guys made moving. THANK YOU!!!

Exceeded all expectations! Two 10×20 storage units in Mill Creek, 2 trucks, 4 moving professionals started our job at 8:30AM, as agreed and unloaded the last two boxes in Arlington at 12:37PM. Nothing damaged, furniture reassembled, and every item placed in the room we asked. On top on that, the final invoice was $ 402 below estimate. My wife and I could not have been treated better – thanks Mark, and the wonderful staff at Moore!

Mark was awesome to work with from start to finish. Came out for free to give us a quote and tips on packing. Our movers were polite, energetic and helpful. Not one thing scratched or broken and on top of that they were affordable! We have moved three times in the last three years and this company was the first that we didn’t have to claim damage on. Stuck to their quote, no surprise fees. Frank, John and Rob handled every curveball we threw at them happily.

Absolute scam! When we asked to use them for our move, Mark promised us the world. Initially our bid was $ 2400 to move from Portland OR to Long Beach, CA. Awfully high for a roomful of boxes!
Well, when our stuff finally showed up in Long Beach, they used a «shuttle» to bring our stuff and wanted to charge us $ 3800! The shuttle wasn’t needed, our boxes arrived destroyed. The company could care less and do not take responsibility for anything!
I have yet to get a return email or call from them! Utterly mortified. I have moved several times and a few things broken here and there is expected but tons of broken items and an $ 1800 jack in our price is a joke!
DO NOT RECOMMEND THEM AT ALL!
