Was forced to stay here. Was in town for a concert, sure wish I would have just driven to Sacramento. The place was not clean at all. The breakfast they offered was nasty. I could have staid in a tent and been better off. This place has tons of full time residents. DON’T STAYHERE!

I would rather sleep in my car in a walmart parking lot then to stay here. If you park across the street and really pay attention to the people who live here yes i said live here cause majority of them do. Lots of drug buying and selling, hookers and permanent residents.

I would like to first thank the Rio inn and suites for helping me further my education in the medical field. I should explain that I’m not a doctor or aspiring to have anything to do with the medical field. I really only needed to find out what the red welts that covered my arms and back were. I should back up a bit first. A friend, my son, and I planned to race at E street MX which is right next to the Rio. We decided to stay at the Rio the night before our race. We checked in and decided to drive through and check the place out. As we drove around back we were greeted by a very friendly crack whore who seemed pleasant enough. The room smelled musky and wasn’t very clean but it wasn’t the worst place I had ever stayed at. It wasn’t until a week later that the red welts showed up. A quick phone call confirmed that all three of us had bed bugs. I had it the worst, covering my legs, arms, and back. I would avoid this place unless your main form of transportation is a stolen mountain bike.

A gal pal and I stayed here as a cheap sleep while attending at concert at Sleeptrain Amphitheater. This was what we paid for. Older motel with some touch ups. We are both shorties and we had to duck to get under the shower head. Pillows were very flat. The staff was very nice and the room was pretty clean except for a tiny cockroach hiding in the drawer. Think he crawled in from under the door gap but wasn’t much to worry us. Definitley bring earplugs as this is right off the high way. All in all it wasn’t bad for what we paid.

It’s definitely a «Budget Hotel», but you should definitely go somewhere else! Please. Keep driving when you see this place. We had a large work group stay here, renting out 10 rooms total. The rooms are VERY small & dingy, but livable. Unless your staying in the back. The rooms upfront are newer, nicer bathrooms but the king rooms, the beds take up pretty much the entire room, definitely not a lot of space & various stains on the carpeting. The back rooms?! Jesus. No headboards, mattress’ were filthy– a few people in our group complained of bed bugs! The bathroom area is very small in the back rooms, dark, stand-up showers. There’s a lot of «long term guests» that are definitely on some serious drugs & will make sideways comments your entire stay– they sure know how to make their guests feel welcome… Not. That was my biggest problem. The management is very nice, but the«long term guests» & the back rooms are awful.

Really great place to score some crank or heroin. If you are looking for a cheap hooker this is the place for you! Be sure to bring a teaser or a can of pepper spray unless you want to get robbed. This IS the tweaker capital of Yuba County.

I don’t know what the other reviewers were seeing, but I found this motel to be old and in serious need of renovation. Old plumbing, musty smell, a ridiculous satellite TV setup, dirty tile floors, and on and on. True, the price through Hotwire was affordable, but I certainly will never recommend this place to anyone.

The place is clean, the staff is friendly, and the price is right! We went to a concert at Sleep Train and needed a decent place to crash after the concert that was affordable. This place was definitely it! While the place was definitely older, it was fixed up in a modern style and was comfortable. And the walls are concrete! Not a peep was heard inside or out! Very nice stay and I totally recommend it!
