Our Paddleboard school is one of the best on Cape Cod and we guarantee that you, your family or your corporate group will have a great time!

We are Upper Cape Cod’s largest Stand Up Paddle Shop providing all the right gear and instruction for SUP on Cape Cod… we may even show you some of our secret spots!!!

MOCEAN Cape Cod now offers kayak rentals! Our brand new fleet of sit in and sit on top kayaks can be delivered to your location to make your vacation even better.

MOCEAN Cape Cod started over a decade ago as a small store with Big Dreams! Now, because of our dedication to our customers, we are the largest independent retailer in Mashpee Commons.

Over a decade ago, my wife Darcey and I, decided to open MOCEAN Cape Cod in Mashpee Commons. We put everything on the line to make a go of it.

With a new baby and only a small savings account, we rolled up our sleeves and opened MOCEAN in May of 2002

Since then, we have grown to become the LARGEST independent apparel retailer in Mashpee Commons. We have provided a decade of outstanding service to our customers looking for the best brands in the outdoor industry. We proudly offer UGG, The North Face and Patagonia in the Fall/​Winter and Billabong, Quiksilver, RipCurl, O’Neill, Patagonia and more in the Summer. We are also the biggest Stand Up Paddle Shop in the Upper Cape Region! We LOVE stand up paddle boarding, and when we are not in the store, we are most likely on the water spreading the Cape Cod Aloha!

My boyfriend and I did a Full Moon SUP tour with Hex and it was PERFECT! Hex was a great guide, professional and friendly, easy going and helpful, not overbearing but there if we needed him. It was the most relaxing, serene tour. The location was perfect and the full moon was incredible to paddle by. I would absolutely 100% recommend taking the Full Moon tour (or any class) with Hex. Also, dealing with MOCEAN could not have be easier. Ryan was super helpful on the phone and even texted me a map of where to meet up. The weather was questionable earlier in the day and Ryan stayed in touch with me all day with updates, texting so as not to be intrusive. It really was a perfect experience — thank you!

Ryan at Mocean was great, and made our trip! We went in to rent a SUP for the first time ever. He had us set up extremely quickly, and then took 10 – 15 minutes to help us tie it onto the car and give us a quick lesson right there on the sidewalk. We had a fantastic time on the lake for the next day. When we returned it, he recommended a restaurant for dinner that was just perfect– off the beaten path and not touristy at all. The store was really nicely put together, and it is clear he knows his stuff. Would absolutely recommend.

We did a family paddle board lesson which was great! The woman who set it up via the phone was very helpful. The instructor Ryan came to our house with all the boards and equipment. He was great with the kids. HIGHLY recommend — we will rent from them again!

Had the best first paddleboard experience.
Went out paddleboarding at the Popponesset Spit. Ryan and Ashley were AMAZING, friendly and professional, and actually ended up going out with us and being our tour guides for 2 hours. The area was perfect for beginners — inside the bay so there wasn’t much of a current or many waves. They brought all the items we needed and showed us how to use everything before heading out. Definitely hooked on paddleboarding now!
Mocean will drop off everything you need for a day trip — you can rent for only $ 59 for 24 hours!!! — board, paddle, life jacket, leash and even rack for your car! They have tons of spots they know about to send you out at and I am so glad they suggested the spit/​bay instead of going out at the beach and into the ocean.
Definitely recommend them if you are in that area rather than travelling all the way to buzzards bay. They even have pickup/​drop off at the rotary in mashpee!

Nice & friendly staff, great products, cool gear! What a fun store Mocean is! I’ve checked this store out here and there for fun clothes and shoes but when I was in need of a particular item recently THIS is when they really came through for me. The staff knew what I was looking for, took me to the item in the store so I didn’t have to search for it and then was very helpful in discussing pros, cons and so forth. Mocean is a fun & funky store you don’t want to miss!
