Grandma Sugar’s Cupcakery

Easily the best cupcake I have had. Cannot remember the name of the one I had, but it had caramel buttercream and coconut on top and it tasted divine.

I don’t live in Iowa but come here for work on occasion and every time I’m in town, I’m swinging by for these cupcakes. They are to die for.
Each time I pick up one for the road or a dozen for the office, I am very pleasantly surprised by the price; $ 2/​cupcake?! This really feels like a steal.
My absolute favorite flavor is Wedded Bliss. Almond cake topped with almond buttercream and crystal sprinkles on top. The Dreamsicle is also fun; vanilla cake with orange buttercream and a sugared orange slice on top. Pretty and delicious!
They call themselves a boutique cupcakery and I would wholeheartedly agree. Quality ingredients make cupcakes that taste great and these cupcakes not only taste amazing, but they are beautiful works of art.

The BEST «Better than you know what» cupcakes I have ever had. They have new flavors daily. This is a must to try in North Iowa! You will not be disappointed!

This is THE best red velvet cupcake I have ever eaten… and I eat a LOT of them! With new flavors every day, there is always something new to try and I have not been disappointed yet. Keep up the great baking, Grandma Sugar’s!
