I am a nurse that works night shift. I come through and order a large black coffee with two shots of espresso around 6pm before almost every shift. The last five times they’ve told me that the espresso machine is cleaning. About 50% of the time prior it is cleaning. Why would a restaurant schedule cleaning at peak dinner time hours? Why not do it during downtime? They have now told me that it is cleaning and often had to refund me a dollar which involves the manager upwards of 40 – 50 times. I don’t know but it sounds like they don’t like selling espresso or they are just to lazy to clean during down times. Makes me wonder!

I met Christie who runs this McDonalds. She took the time to meet me and discuss some of the minor issues. Thanks Christie it was nice to meet you.

Ran through this location recently after a long day at work. Was hoping for the typical good McDonald’s fries, a burger and their awesome fountain soda. Sadly I got an inept drive thru worker who didn’t care to listen to my order(thus I had to repeat 4 times) because she was playing on her phone and then when I go to the second window, they hand me an ice tea and then huff when I tell them that’s not my order. They then proceed to ask me my order and still give me the ice tea. The drive thru female attendant then grumbles because she can’t handle her job. The coke was good as always but everything else was less than average. Hire people who care and make consistent food-that’s what got you to the success level McDonald’s has achieved. Will drive longer next time to a location that may be better run.

My wife and I enjoyed a date night at the restaurant a couple weeks ago. We arrived a few minutes ahead of our 7 pm reservation and were promptly seated, even though the hostess appeared to be swamped with a rush of walk-in guests. The view of Mason-Montgomery road, overlooking the parking lot, added to the ambience of the evening. We were, admittedly, disappointed in the selection of wines: the usual selection of middle of the road cabs and Merlots from the big houses in Napa. The next time we may share the inspiration of our nearest seat mates by bringing our own. Service was crisp to the point of feeling somewhat hurried. Great emphasis was placed on busing the tables between courses. Lastly — and a curious point here — many of the patrons seemed compelled to circle behind the restaurant to experience the cuisine. We suspect the chef was offering a novel tasting menu in a reverse food truck mode, in keeping with the latest trend of being fed from utility trucks. Would we return? Yes, without reservation. We’ve made note to dine here again on Wednesday’s, when the local jazz combo plays caddy corner to the condiment stand, starting at 8 pm.

They remodeled and the people seem nice, accurate. I know the place used to be a dump, so know it is better now. Give them a chance.

The employees are so unprofessional. They talk so loud behind the counter I now know the personal lives of each one by the time I finishd my meal.

If I could give this place zero stars I would have… that’s how bad the experiences I’ve had here have been. I went a last week to pick up some food for a family friend and my Mom. Went through the drive thru and they, of course, got the order wrong. Then, when I went in to get things figured out, they acted like it was my fault. Now, for today… it was 6pm on a Saturday evening, when the wife and I walked in(Because the drive-thru had 8 cars sitting in it) to get a coffee and an order of fries. It took almost 15 minutes to get in and out. While one person worked the front register 2 other people stood behind the counter and told one another jokes and laughed. While the manager was sitting in a booth in front of the counter flirting with a girl. I realize people don’t get paid all that much to work at Mcdonalds… but, sweet Jesus, DOBETTER! Manager…employees…and lazy ass people all over this location… get your ass in gear and GETBETTERATWHATYOUDO! Pathetic!
