Welcome to Jacob Alexander Catering!

Jacob Alexander Catering was born out of a passionate love for cooking and entertaining. Our Owner and Executive Chef takes great pride in his food preparation and presentation to ensure that your special event will be a memorable and successful experience. Our services include: Venue location, Full Service Catering, Rental Equipment (Tables, Chairs, China, Glassware, Flatware, Linens, Tents, etc.), Ice & Fruit Carvings. Valet, Lighting, Décor and much, much more.

You can choose all of our services, or just what you want.

We offer all styles of Food Service: Buffet, Plated, Station Service, Russian, French, Family Style, we also cover Any Ethnic variation.

History

Established in 2008.

Chef Rob sold his catering company in LA in early 2008 and started Jacob Alexander Catering, his 2 sons Jacob and Alexander were in inspiration for the naming of the new company. Chef Rob have been cooking for over 25 years and catering for 15 of those years.

About–

Like most chefs, Robert knew at an early age he had an interest in food. «Food became the passion in my life.» Born in Jackson Heights Queens, New York, into a family of German/​Irish decent, Robert was introduced to the joys of cooking at a very young age, he started at the age of 13 as kitchen prep in his families Italian restaurants working his way from the front of the house busing tables to the back of the house washing dishes, prepping and preparing salads. For many years, Robert stayed devoted to his love of Italian food; however after working with famous chefs such as Emeril Lagasse and Michael Romano, he developed an appreciation for French, Pacific Rim, Cajun, Creole, America and Southwest cooking. «In every kitchen I’m in, I dedicate myself to learning as much as I can about each cuisine so I can, in turn, develop my own dishes with personal flair,» Robert stated.
