If you eat at fast burger places and have not been here, you are missing the greatest fast ¼ lb burger around. No drive thru, but really worth getting out of your car to wait on the line out the door. It moves fast, and is not too long of a wait for the yummy burgers

Good and cheap burgers, fries, and shakes. It’s a classic place. Very popular so the line is always out the door but it goes quickly. If you’re craving fast food and you’re in the area, this is your place.

Been coming since I was little. People come from all over to get some” All American”. Everything is great. I always get a quarter pounder with cheese, fries & a knish(since I can’t decide which I like better since they’re both so good) then I have to do an extra day at the gym lol. Even the tuna on their burger buns are great lol. No joke !

This is a fantastic fast food place. I travel all the way from Rockville Centre to go here. It’s very cheap and has the old school feel to it. This place is a must go to anyone that lives in the Nassau south shore area.

This place is verry over rated and not worth it. literally lines outside the Door. The burgers are Greasy and are the equivalent to McDonalds buns and same dog food flavored meat. save you’re money and get 3 dollar burgers for the price of one. Onion rings and french fries are frozen and chewy. HORRIBLE!

A few notches above McDonald’s in terms of quality and price. I adore it because it’s completely unassuming, unpretentious, and is exactly as advertised. This kind of honesty is much appreciated in a world of $ 12 «southwest» burgers(aka just toss some BBQ sauce, onion rings, and bacon on it). Come here for burgers, fries, dogs, and bangin’ shakes. Definitely worth your money, considering that these are such bargain prices. As my momma would say: «price adds flavor». The price made these burgers taste great. Far from being the best burger I’ve ever had, but it does its job just right. P. S. It’s cash only.

Love this place for the food and nostalgia! Classic burger joint with cheap prices, fast service and great food. The lines can get long, but they move fast. It’s cash only and you have to ask for the condiments once you get your order. I always get the quarter pounder with cheese, a strawberry shake, fries and a knish. The food isn’t gourmet, but it’s always fresh and sooo good! All-American is a Long Island staple and one of my favorite places to eat after the beach.

It’s cash only & dirt cheap. The line is always out the door and out of order. Sometimes you literally have to talk to half the people in there just to figure out wether they’re ordering or waiting for food. The staff is full of kids so there really isn’t anyone thats fully hands on. Sometimes they let you know your food is ready; sometimes they let you sit and wait until you say something. The burgers are good but the pattys are really slim. Deff get the quarter pounder instead of three small burgers. The fries are good. I mostly enjoy the milkshakes. Nice place & great concept considering there isn’t anything like it.

All American literally has not changed in 20 or so years. For me, that’s a great thing. The place is always packed but the lines move fast and the cashiers are friendly and quick. You can get a couple of burgers, fries and shake for around 5 bucks… and its great, similar to In & Out burger but… better :) Cash only and be prepare to eat outside or in your car! No way those fries are gonna stay in the bag all the way til you get home.

I love All American. It has all of the nostalgia you would ever want out of fast food. The food has not changed at all in years and that is a good thing. I am a sucker for their hamburgers/cheeseburgers. I actually like the regular sized ones to the quarter pounders. The shakes are great too.

My dad grew up in Massapequa, so I’ve been coming here since I was a baby. Honestly though, this is any long islanders go to for a post-beach burger and fries. It looks exactly the same as when my dad came here as a kid. It has a fun vintage vibe with the same reliably delicious food as it served the day it opened. The menu is simple — burgers, fries, hot dogs, onion rings, shakes. My parents buy our burgers from the same place All American buys their burgers to ensure our BBQs are the best! I highly recommend coming here — the line may look long at first, but it moves very fast!

It’s classic Americana, it’s been open since 1963 and it is an experience in and of itself. All American Hamburger is worth visiting for the experience alone since it has the look and feel of a 1950’s drive in. It really does take you to a time and place in American history which is pretty cool. The prices are crazy cheap, it is fast food but it is cheaper than what you would expect to pay. I don’t remember there being a place to sit and eat, so eating in your car would probably be the best bet. The food: Quarter Pounder with Cheese– This is the go to item and I liked it, the burger does have more of a cafeteria/amusement park feel than a restaurant but the burger is still good. The cheese, beef, ketchup, onions and pickles are similar to the Mcd’s quarter pounder but the one here is the better, more refined version. Hot Knish– This is the shocker item. I never would have guessed to order a knish at a place like this but the knish was good. The outside has a nice outer crust while the inside was nice and fluffy. I am not even the biggest knish fan but the one here is recommended. French Fries– I like the fact that the fries are cut in house and the fries were good, it’s a nice good solid fry. Onion Rings– I enjoyed them, it has a nice onion flavor and there are actual slices of onion. Vanilla Shake– Really good flavor and I like how it didn’t taste artificial. The shake is super thick, though.

First review of hamburger weekend! This place is your classic hamburger joint! I was there on a Friday early evening and there really wasn’t much of a crowd. Very friendly and quick service. I had to get the double double because that is their«thing» and I wasn’t disappointed. Was just as everyone else described it, yummy! I got a chocolate shake which was awesome and onion rings which I thought were average. Bottom line, in the fast food category, this is number one. Try it for yourself and you too will become a believer!

You already know. Do I even need to write this? A Long Island staple. Quarter pounder with cheese please and a large greasy fry. Half and half shake. I park by the dumpster while the boy and I gorge. «Don’t drop fries in my car!» He beckons. No fry shall be lost. Every last calorie is consumed between maniacal laughter. The burgers juice drops off our face as we turn and face each other. «I’m so full,» I croon. «Let’s go home…» We throw our scraps into the bag and toss it into the dumpster. It’s quite the ride back to the boys house in Huntington and I try to wipe the grease off my fingers as to not smear it on the interior of his car. «I bought a regular cheeseburger for later too,» he confesses solemnly. «That’s all you,» I forfeit. We slowly shuffle out of the car and back into reality.

Line was long but it went quick. they only take cash! We had 2 quarter pounders with cheese, a knish, large fries, a vanilla shake and a medium root beer which came out to under $ 15. Burgers were delish. every bite had a pickle just enough ketchup and cheese on both sides of the patty! It was perfect. Fries were good too. you didn’t need to add extra salt or anything they were crispy… perfectly cooked. Knish nothing bad to say. Milk shake was awesome! Nice and thick! I can’t wait to go back! The prices and the food did not disappoint! :)

Yeaaaaa this review is for the fries. They are awesome! But I wanted a meal so we opted to go to an actual restaurant instead. Very reasonable pricing. I’ll be back to actually try a burger next time lol.

What to say? No-one is going to claim this is a gourmet burger, it’s not even an upscale burger. The differences between between and All-American and White Castle comes down to size and cost. They have the same cult like following and when the stars align, the ordering line will go out the door. Where a place like all American has the edge over their cult peer is the fries. I’m not sure what they ddo exactly to get the fries so crisp and light, but they are delicious. Like skip the burger and have three orders of fries instead delicious. Just the perfect amount of salt to they have that saltiness that all good fries need. And when you get down to the bottom of the container there are these crunchy french fry bits that can be chugged in one last gasp of hedonism. You’ll want to lick your fingers, I don’t think they’ll look down on you if you do.

Guilty. Busy but quick considering… well not always quick but, always packed, pretty good and cheap… far for me but, I think i have a craving coming on. I think the reason this place does good is it’s low prices, location, and bright lights… other than that I have to say doing a taste test compared to say McDonald’s… there isn’t much difference… The price is different but the taste only slightly; These burgers are less greasy, slightly larger, but still resemble Ronald’s famed burgers. All American, has become a bit of a hot spot in the«touristy dining» sense; much better places DO exist just not in the same realm. It’s famous and popular and they have a great strawberry shake– get the quarter pounder with cheese and don’t look back. The service… It’s all kids, all young teens, so you don’t get much, just drones doing what their told and trying not to mess up too much. You take this place for what it is, and you feel only a little guilty about it.
