Have to echo D. M’s experience. Family has been coming here for years, and the experience has been reasonably positive. That is until they made a significant mistake. Botched a patch job on my pants. Tailor evidently just ran over the pants with the machine in a seemingly random fashion. Had seamstresses look at it and they all agreed it was a hack job. Owner even admitted it was done incorrectly and that it was shoddy work. The solution to ruining a suit bottom worth 150+ dollars? $ 8 reimbursement for the job done. Said she can’t do anything about the fact that her tailor made a mistake and delivered a poor product. Umm, as a business owner you always can do something– you chose not to. Add a nice coating of condescension to her words and demeanor and the picture is complete. Can say bye bye to my weekly dry cleaning worth 100+ a month, in addition to my 5 family members/any friends contemplating having work done. Save yourself a headache and go to Capri Cleaners on Merrick Road(~ 1 mile away).

We have been using this cleaners for a long time and never had an issue until recently. When my husband put on one of his dress shirt that Dina’s had recently laundered, there was a very noticeable damage to the shirt. I returned with the shirt expecting that they would reimburse us for the replacement of the shirt. Instead they denied that they had damaged. The shirt cannot be warn or donated. In business, mistakes are made. However good businesses stand behind their errors and their loyal customers. NOT Dina’s!!!

Love this place! The tailors there are very nice and polite. They did not make me feel rushed, and listened to all of my concerns about the bridesmaid dress I was having altered. The problem was that I had lost a lot of weight since I bought it and really needed it taken in. They did a great job and it fits perfectly now. I will definitely be going back there.
