Been going to Giovanna Salon for about 6 years now. Giovanna colors, cuts and styles my hair beautifully. I have curly hair and in my opinion not everyone knows how to properly cut my type of hair. My curls fall beautifully and since going to Giovanna I now love my curls! Giovanna is truly skilled at what she does. Everyone at the salon is friendly and accommodating. I highly recommend Giovanna Salon.

First time customer, saw Antoinette… She trimmed and shaped my hair (it was a long time between cuts), and between her work and her personality, I am now going to be a regular there! Everyone there was friendly and nice atmosphere!

Nice place. Went here for a raindrop aromatherapy massage on a living social deal. The massage was great and very soothing. I felt extremely loose and relaxed afterwards. Only downside was there was only one masseuse and I was there with two other people so we each had to wait for each other. That part sort of takes away from the relaxation. Also the massage area was very small. If they really want to move into the spa market they need to spend a little more on expanding that area and soundproofing it.

My mother, sister and I had our hair and makeup done at Giovanna’s for my wedding day. My mother and sister have been seeing Joanne for years and they were pretty adamant about us having our hair and makeup done there. I was so very pleased with their choice! Giovanna designed my hair on my wedding day. It was GORGEOUS! Exactly what I wanted. She made me feel so happy and special. I was a little nervous that morning and she brought me tea and calmed my nerves. So sweet! Joanne did my mother and sister’s hair and I believe Lucille did our makeup. They looked AMAZING and I loved my makeup! Everyone at the salon was so friendly and excited for me. It was really a great start to a great day! Thank you so much ladies!

The first part of this review is for the facial I received from a Living Social ad. The facial was really good, she did alot of ‘extracting’ on my face, which caused some redness but after a few hours it went down. I liked everything about the facial except the atmosphere. The room itself was nice and you could hear birds chirping in the background, but you could also hear everything that was going on outside the door. The spa is also a hair and nail salon, and the nail part of the place was in the same area as where you get a massage and facial. So the noise of customers and workers and other random noises were extremely distracting, which made it very hard to relax. If it was quiet I would of had no complaints.
The massage, which I had before the facial was not what I expected. It was called a raindrop massage and I didn’t enjoy it as much as the facial. They use these oils which I guess what makes it called a ‘raindrop’ massage. The oils had a strong smell, reminded me of my grandmother’s perfume. The amount of time wasted on waiting for the oils to slowly drip out of the little tiny bottles and onto my skin could have easily added up to 20 minutes, which would have been better used on giving me a massage. I didn’t like the fact that she wound up a timer when we got started, you could hear it ticking the whole time which was distracting. I also couldn’t relax due to the noise outside. When there are voices of both customers and employees that can be heard while your trying to enjoy a massage, well, that to me was unprofessional and made it extremely difficult to relax. The room was extremely small where I received the massage which also made it difficult to get undressed and also made it difficult for the woman to work on me because she had to keep shifting to either side of the bed I was on. This was nothing compared to a Swedish massage, so If that’s what your looking for, do not book a rain drop massage here.
