Signature Cuts

I went to Signature Cuts because they are right off of Broadway in Massapequa.
The couple of times I have been there, I usually had Nancy the owner of the salon do my hair color. It came out very nice so I decided to keep going there. The last time I went there on a Friday Night, I received my hair color and hair cut by Brooke. She was fantastic and funny at the same time, I called to get an appointment with Brooke again, and they told me she no longer worked there. Bummer… So the young woman on the phone set me up with another hair dresser who preceded to call me 3x that day to make sure I was still coming due to the snow. On my way to the salon, the hair stylist called me again, to say there wasn’t going to be enough time to do my color and get my hair cut. They close at 7:30PM on Friday’s. It was 6:15PM when she called to cancel my appointment. How Nice to cancel on the 4^th call. Not very professional of her. I wish Brooke was still there, and if anyone knows where she went, please let me know so I can follow her.

I came here today as a walk-​in for a cut 2 hrs before closing and only waited 5 mins. I hadn’t heard about the place before, and chose it because I saw it when I was passing by. It was not very crowded, but this might be due to it being that weird time between Christmas and New Years. Both the lady who washed my hair, and Brooke, the lady who cut my hair, were very friendly and knowlegable. They explained what they were doing and why they were doing it. The place seemed clean and the products were mostly Aveda.
The only downside was that it was $ 22 for a wash and cut, and it could not be cheaper based on the fact that I had already washed my hair that day and did not need it to be washed again. Overall the price was average for the quality of service but if there was a just cut option I would have liked that.

I love this salon because of the stylist Concetta. Ive been going to her for years and only came to this salon because she works there. I havent been to any other stylist there so I cant speak for the entire salon but Concetta is the BEST.
Like plenty of women I get extremely anxious over haircuts, never knowing how itll turn out. Ever since I started seeing Concetta (which has been for about 5 or 6 years) Ive gone into the salon feeling confident and knowing Ill walk out with a great cut.
Every hair cut, coloring, etc has come out perfect and I highly recommend her! The salon is also clean and spacious and overall the prices are fair!
