We went there today for the first time with our cats. One of my cats is a bit naughtier than the other so unfortunately the doctor was unable to give him a checkup. But he did a great job with my little girl, who is much easier to handle. The doctor gave us tranquilizers (for the cat though I could use one myself) and hopefully we can get him updated on his shot soon. I found the doctor and his staff to be friendly and knowledgeable and I’m happy we were able to find such a great office so soon after moving to the area. I would give 4 stars but if I did there wouldn’t be any room for improvement when we go back again.

Received a very thoughtful card in the mail from the doctor thanking us for becoming a new client. Another reason we will be back again.

I absolutely love Dr Barry. He is so knowledgeable and is very accommodating to me and my cat. He explains everything very throughly and gives great advice to keeping my girl healthy. Anytime I’ve ever had a question or concern someone is always available to help. I also love that he doesn’t charge outrageous prices. Every time I’ve ever gone it’s been very reasonable, especially for the great care that we receive! Thank you so much Dr Barry for being simply amazing and understanding how much my pet means to me.

Love Dr. Barry and his staff! They are very welcoming and friendly. You can tell Dr. Barry has a passion to help pets and is not in the business to take everyone’s money. The place is older and not very fancy, but this allows him to keep his prices fair and reasonable. As long as my pets are safe I can careless about a new fancy expensive place. Definitely a great vet and compassionate guy.

Dr. Barry Kopp and his veterinary practice was recommended to me by several friends when I was looking for a local vet for 2 kittens I adopted from the MSPCA back in August 2013. We visited Matawan Animal Hospital in September 2013 for the first time and were very pleased! The staff and Dr. Barry are nice, caring, professional, knowledgeable and reasonable with their charges, unlike many other places who care more about your money than your pet. We’ve been back and we will continue to use this practice for many years to come! Great people, great place and great service. I’m so happy we found Matawan Animal Hospital and Dr. Barry!
