This is the worst dealership in the NATION!!! I found a vehicle posted on Car Gurus (Cadillac 2007) priced at $ 4,987.00. The posting stated contact Sutton Ford Dealership in Matteson, IL. I so regret wasting my time with this dishonest bad attitude dealers. They tried to rip me off by telling me that the car is actually a little over $ 7,000 because the actual seller priced it at that. I stated to Andre who is the so called spokes person for these FOOLS who try to take advantage of people that doesn’t make any sense. Then he gave me a threatening look throughout my communicating back and forth with him. Andre had the audacity to seem annoyed at me when I ask them to lower the monthly payments proposed at $ 539.00 for 36 months… THESE PEOPLE HAVE NO SHAME!!! THAT IS A RIP OFF AND A INSULT!!! How in the world can this car price change at a little over $ 7,000 have me paying $ 19,404.00. THEY ARE LOW DOWN!!!
I was there for over 5 hrs. trying to negotiate a CORRECT AND FAIR DEAL and ended up leaving telling them that they wasted my day… my time and Andre (so called assistant manager walked away with an nasty attitude)
DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME WITH THESE DISHONEST FOLKS AT SUTTON FORD IN MATTESON ILLINOIS!!! PLEASE BELIEVE EVERY BAD REVIEW NOTED ABOUT THEM.

BEWARE FROM THIS DEALER… They don’t even deserve one star. I had an appointment to see a 2014 Jeep Compass. I took my sister (she was buying the car) to see the car. On the way to the dealer I received a email from the saleswoman reminding me to have my sister bring her pay stub etc for financing and how she was looking forward to meeting us. This was literally on our way to the dealer, I actually opened the email when I parked the car in their lot. We go inside and some guy sat us by his desk and told us I’ll be helping you because the lady you were talking to is our internet sales manager. He goes walks around for 5 mins and is talking to someone and then he comes back and informs us the car that we had an appointment to see was sold last night. I told him we just got an email on the way here and why wernt we told that it was sold we wouldn’t have come and wasted our time. He didn’t offer any apology didn’t say a word and we just walked out. It’s either a bait and switch or they did sell the car. I don’t know which reason is worse, if they did sell it last night that means this «ford megastore» is unorganized and their managers should be fired because they hire incompetant employees that don’t update the system or keep record of what’s sold.

We purchased a car at Sutton Ford. They gave us auto butler for free. Our contract says 0.00 but they added the fee in the loan hoping we wouldn’t catch it. When we did, they promised us a refund check. It’s been 3 weeks. They still have no given us the check we have tried to get several times, now they are only offering us half of the money back. DO NOT BUY A CAR HERE, they are shady and liars. We have turned them into the BBB, contacted Ford, & now contacting a lawyer. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME HERE WITH SNEAKY SALES PEOPLE & FINANCE DEPT. WORST DEALERSHIP IVE EVER BEEN TO.

What a cheap ass dealership. They are too cheap to provide brochures! Salesman started to tell me that there are no brochures anymore because people look online but I told him I knew better. I was only inquiring for a friend this time but I am giving some thoughts to an Escape when my present vehicle comes due for replacement so I would have picked up some info. Knowing what sort of cheapo operation they run as well as the other reviews I just read means I won’t be bothering to talk to Sutton Ford.

I went in to buy a new car. Salesperson was not knowledgeable about the car I wanted. She was very defensive and not customer oriented and basically told me to buy not only from a different car dealership but also different brand of car. Sorry for inconveniencing this dealership. I will make sure it doesn’t happen again.

Last summer, when my previous car was nearing breakdown, I drove on over to Sutton Ford.
I parked, got out and walked for what seemed like over 30 minutes down aisle after aisle, looking at the pre-​owned Taurus inventory.
I stopped for a while and looked very intently at a few that I would’ve liked a test drive. this is after AT LEAST 50 minutes.
Not ONCE did someone come outside and greet me. Made me wonder if they even cared that I was there?

This place is alright.
We went in there to get a price & some info on a Transit Connect. Took about an hour but we werent in any rush.
The prices seem a little higher. But Matt was pretty nice & helpful.

Run fast, and go elsewhere!
I am not one to blog or write reviews, but I felt compelled too, after my experience with this dealership. Please read and consider going elsewhere.
I had an issue where Sutton Ford fraudulently ran my credit, not once, but twice in two days. I went to the dealership as to inquire why they ran it without my permission. They had stated I applied on line with a 3^rd party which they buy leads from. I Informed them I did no such thing, as I am currently applying for a mortgage. FRANK the «sales manger» stood up to me and tried to intimidate me, he stated «that unless I am conducting business, I need to leave.» I then informed «I will be contacting the BBB & FTC,» he then said «go ahead I don’t care»
There was no sympathy or accountability. No willingness to look into the issue, and definitely no willingness to resolve it. With that, just imagine if you have an issue with a purchase there. I called and placed a complaint with the Ford corporate offices, and they were more helpful.
In short, I guess I was looking for a business to stand up and do the right thing when someone has such an issue, and just remove the inquires from my credit report. If this is the level of service that I received when fraud occured, I can only imagine how they treat their customers.
You’ve been warned, this is not a stand up dealership at all. Please do not do business with Frank, he will try to intimidate you, till he gets his way. Go to another dealership. So many more reputable Ford dealerships around.

I purchased a 2005 mustang from Sutton back in August 2010. I had the car for 2.5 weeks. I received a call from the service department saying they had a warranty «part» for the Mustang and please bring it in so they can work on it. I brought it in, then the Finance manager who was extremely rude and a$$holish. He told me he can’t get me financed and they took the car back if I didn’t have a much larger down payment. Based on principle I wouldn’t give them one more penny!
My issue isn’t with the financing, but it was how they lied to get me there, let me keep the car for two weeks and then was rude and obnoxious after kissing my butt when I bought it. I spoke with the GM as well as the owner. I told them, I will make sure everyone knows about the experience but they didn’t seem to care. I don’t like the way they do business. I don’t believe that it takes 2 weeks to find financing.
I wouldn’t recommend my dog to take a dump on their property and definitely not anyone to purchase anything from them! There are dozens of other dealers, take my word for it, pick a different one!
