Pressly Animal Hospital is a full service veterinary hospital. We are an exclusive small animal practice. We perform healthy and sick physical examinations. We can administer vaccinations and perform important annual testing.

Dr. Pressly and Dr. Drake can perform a wide variety of surgeries from the routine procedures to the more difficult procedures. Both doctors are very skilled in performing foreign body removals, orthopedic repairs, soft tissue surgeries and many other procedures.

Both doctors are members of several industry associations, including: The American Veterinary Medical Associations, The North Carolina Veterinary Medical Associations and many others. Dr. Drake is also a certified member of the International Veterinary Acupuncture Society.

Business Owner

I have lived in Charlotte most of my life and graduated from East Mecklenburg High School in 1987. I went to the University of North Carolina at Charlotte and graduated from there in 1992. Upon graduation, I decided I was ready for a new adventure and went out West. There, I had the pleasure of working on a horse ranch in Colorado. On the ranch, I was placed in charge of maintaining a herd of horses. It was during this time that my passion for animal health emerged. My new-​found passion inspired me to return to school. So in 1993, I furthered my studies in animal health at North Carolina State University. I was so excited to start this chapter in my life that I decided to enroll in vet school at Ross University, which is located on the island of St. Kitts. I completed my senior clinical rotation in large animal medicine at North Carolina State University-​Veterinary Teaching Hospital.
