We have fresh eggs daily along with cheese made by Ashe County Cheese in West Jefferson, NC shipped straight to our store! We also have consigned items… furniture, household items, clothes and more…

Established in 2012.

We opened as a small shop that took in mostly donations to help local families and community centers… while we still do that out of the back of the store… we have more to offer now and prefer to sell local items made by the people in our community.

As the new owner of «Southern Avenue», we have changed our name from Southern Avenue & God’s Garage to Shoppes at Southern Avenue. We are no longer a thrift shop but a consignment shop. We still specialize in keeping it local… we carry local beekeeping supplies & honey. Handbatched soaps, chapsticks, lotions & bath products. We have farm fresh eggs daily along with cheese made by Ashe County Cheese in West Jefferson, NC shipped straight to our store! We also have consigned items… furniture, household items, and other local items. We now also specialize in painted furniture & home décor.
