Over the past five years The South Charlotte Chef has evolved from a Personal Chef Service into a Take Out Restaurant & Bakery. It’s still the same from scratch food as always, but now anyone can order a meal or two or stop by and pick it up

Located on East John Next to the Post Office and behind the Pita Kebab, you can now get the same great meals hot and ready for pick-​up or delivery. The desserts are fresh, the food is great and can now be on everyone’s table.

History

Established in 2011.

Growing up in an Italian American home it is obvious that food is a major part of our culture. We express all emotions thru food and cooking. We talk about food and plan dinner while eating lunch. My love of people lead me into the Automotive and Real Estate fields, but I still felt the need to feed and nuture people.

When I married my South Indian Husband I was introduced to many unusual spices and foods. I have also traveled extensively all over the world, learning how to blend the food and spices of these exotic cultures into everyday food. Diversity and the mixing of culture and food is the way we learn about the world. Perhaps one dish at a time, one bite at a time. So no matter what you are looking for from American to Moroccan and back to Italy and France and then maybe just some good old Pot Roast and Root Veggies. A cross between the Barefoot Contessa and Aunt Clara from Bewitched. She cooks like an Italian Grandmother and thrives on taking care of the sick and those too busy to cook.
