Let me start by saying WOW!
Before heading to Maui my husband and I contacted Jack, he was very friendly and answered all of our questions and concerns over the phone. We set up a date and time for our dive and kept in touch the day before to discuss where we were meeting.
On the day of our dive we were a little nervous but Jack was quick to make us feel comfortable before we even got in the water. Jack is an excellent instructor, his patience and understanding is never ending. He really took the time to explain and demonstrate the skills. We never felt rushed nor did he undermine our feelings.
Once we had the skills down it was time to go under and it was AMAZING. At first it’s like, I’m underwater, I’m scuba diving… Oh my God! Then this calm sets in and you feel like time has stopped and you are in this other beautiful world. Jack kept checking on us, making sure we were OK. Underwater things can get overwhelming, it’s all so beautiful and you don’t want to miss anything. It was nice to have Jack there to point out the fishes, turtles and sights so we would not miss them.
Overall, we had a great time in Maui but our favorite thing was definitely the scuba diving. Thank you Jack… for making our vacation to Maui a memorable experience!

Jack runs the show… EVERYBODY on the island knows him. He that tells it like it is. That being said, he is extraordinarily gentle, patient, and selfless in such a fashion that he will make you a better diver to matter how novice or expert you are. if you are an open water diver, Jack will teach you as much as he will as if you were a master scuba diver. Being the latter, I can tell you that there’s nothing that rivals more than 10,000 hours of time underwater. Being with somebody who is that good, that confident and yet that respectful & knowledgeable of nature, is a rare combination. But Jack is a rarity. If you’re going to Maui and would like to dive in a relatively small group or by yourself with Jack, he is absolutely 100% the person for you. I’ve been to nearly every Hawaiian Island, dove with more than 25 different operations, and I cannot imagine being with somebody who is more responsible, more catering, and just plain better than the rest. Dive with him if at all possible. He really is that good. You will not be disappointed…

So I went back to Hawaii and went diving some more with Jack… and got certified! For a gal who was petrified of the ocean, that’s no small feat!
We even got to hang out next to three sharks on one of our dives! (ok, I was definitely petrified)
Jack is super awesome and patient with me. He’d reexplain things when I needed it. I really liked that he’s use a sketch-​a-​doodle to tell me about the different sea life.
P. S. This year I learned how to swim :)

While the website is still under construction, don’t let the lack of details scare you off. Jack is exceptionally knowledgeable about the rich marine life Maui (and the surrounding islands) have to offer. He makes it a point to set expectations before the dive, communicate what signals he plans on using, and then executes on engaging with clients while underwater so everyone can understand what they are seeing. Even when presented with an adverse situation, Jack handled everything calmly, competently, and very professionally. I have no doubt if you drop him a line, he’ll answer all the questions the site (presently) doesn’t; you won’t be disappointed. He even found me manta’s!!! Gotta digg that!

Jack is a great scuba teacher and a fearless dive leader. He makes you feel safe and confident while diving. I’ve enjoyed the dives with Jack at the Cathedrals caves, piers, wreck dive and much more…

Had a great experience with Jack while vacationing in Maui. I would definitely recommend over the other dive companies we tried during our visits. Great rates, great people! You won’t be disappointed.
