We specialize in made to order breakfast and lunch items. All items can be packaged to go. Breakfast menu includes omelets, French toast, pancakes, breakfast sandwiches, eggs, sausage, always hot coffee and more! Lunch menu includes burgers, fries, sub sandwiches, French dip, specialty sandwiches like the Hefty Henry and an amazing patty melt. Soft serve ice cream cones, shakes and more available in summertime! We always have some tasty vegetarian options and a daily specials board. In addition to food and drink, we have ample parking (easy access for folks towing boats), river shuttle service and a beautiful deck with great views of the Deschutes River. We also stock beer, pop, ice, snacks and sunscreen to make your Deschutes River adventure easy and fun!

History

Established in 1993.

Originally known as the «Redsides Café» (1973), Henry and Vicky Hachler took the space over in 1993 and created «Henry’s Deli-​Mart». Henry was born and raised in Maupin and worked at Mountain Fir Lumber Mill before shifting careers to pursue his dream of running a family friendly local restaurant focused on serving tasty food to the local and tourist communities alike. In addition to offering hot sit down breakfast and lunch meals, Henry’s Deli-​Mart also offers river shuttle services to folks rafting and fishing the adjacent Deschutes River. And Henry’s sells beer, pop, ice, snacks and other needed items to make your river venture complete.

Business Owner

Born & raised in Maupin, Oregon on a small ranch in the Juniper Flat area. Worked on the family farm during school before graduating and joining the local lumber mill (Mountain Fir Lumber Company), where he did a variety of jobs. Henry decided to leave the lumber business in 1993 to open his first restaurant in partnership with his loving wife, Vicky. They have two (now adult) children who were also raised in Maupin and spent quite a bit of their youth running around the restaurant while Henry & Vicky manned the kitchen.
