Foothills Ranch

We went on a one hour ride with family. What a great experience! The kids had no experience with horses and the staff did a great job of matching them with safe reliable horses and putting them at ease. We will definitely be back!

Went for a 4+ hour ride with my girlfriend and Al as the lead (cowboy). While I’ve only ridden a horse once and over 15 years ago, this was a really great experience. Al was friendly, understanding of my novice skills, attentive to my concerns and knowledgeable. Our long ride was a mix of on/​off trails, and truly «off the hoof-​beaten» path through canyons, washes, and climbing to the pines. We stopped halfway for a prepared lunch and got to hang a bit more with Larry and Maude (horses) and Al (cowboy). Having performed a lot of research of available horse riding opportunities in northern/​central Arizona, we settled on Foothills for a special, safe, genuine, and fun riding experience — we were not disappointed in the least! I highly recommend Foothills over the competition.

I haven’t ridden before and this place was recommended to me. I took the one hour ride and had a great time. Al the owner was super nice and Don our trail ride leader looked after us and made sure we were not only safe but having a good time. I can’t wait to go back for more rides. If your looking for a short ride or long this place is good for all.
