Confluence Visuals focuses on three areas at the heart of digital media: video for businesses and non-​profits, onsite and event photography, and website development. Video, such as business profiles and testimonials, is designed to make your website a more powerful selling tool for your business. I work with graphic designers and other website managers to help create great websites, often using the Wordpress platform. (I have a deep network of graphic designers, marketing, SEO and other specialists to bring the right resources and talents to your project.)

I don’t do portraits or weddings, so if that’s what you’re looking for — move on to the next person. (I can make fine recommendations.)

History

Established in 2007.

After 30+ years in the software engineering business, I decided to integrate my passion for visual storytelling with my technical skills. I’ve worked at the local and national level bringing these skills to a wide variety of clients.

Business Owner

30+ years of software development including a long stint at Digital Equipment Corporation. Co-​founded SiteScape, Inc. in 1999 a pioneer in web-​based collaboration — a spinoff of the AltaVista group within Digital.

Primarily an outdoor/​nature photographer for more than 30 years. Worked with some of the earliest digital cameras and continue to use a wide variety of equipment to tackle a diverse set of projects. I shoot in a documentary style with an emphasis on authenticity in the images.
