I own an A+ Rated BBB Accredited Business that works with Roofing Contractors across the country. I ask for no money upfront and I’m paid on performance. Robert came to me for help, we agreed to do business together and I upheld my end of the agreement in a timely and professional manner. However, Robert chose to play games with me, give me the run around, lie to me, waste my time and ultimately refused to pay me for my work. Every once and awhile I run into questionable roofing contractors like Robert Haines and considering that he is stiffing me for only $ 299, it makes me wonder what he would do if there were thousands of dollars on the line. For refusing to pay such a small amount, Robert Haines has shown his true character. He has zero ethics and has proven to be an untrustworthy business man. If you are considering doing business with Robert or getting any type of roof work done, I would seriously reconsider doing so and go with a well-​reviewed, reputable contractor in NJ. I hope this review helps protect people against a businessman like Robert Haines.
