Honestly not sure how these guys stay in business.
They are a bunch of crooks.
Horrible customer service. Offer promotions but then don’t honor them. Service people make appointments, then give you like a 12 hour window, and then show up 2 hours early.
We have wasted thousands of dollars on their «service,» not to mention hours upon hours on the phone with them, only to receive the lousiest of service.
Do yourself a favor and go with a different company.

THIS PLACE IS CLOSED! I don’t know why the customer service rep on the phone sent me to this location … obviously Comcast doesn’t know its right from its left.

This is for xfinity customer service… and unprofessional girl with name Trisha. I just waiting for more internet providers in my neighborhood. I will switch for sure. New X1 box sucks, I had to replace one after 2 days, it dies unexpectedly.

This review is for this location only. It’s definitely NOT a review of my experiences with Comcast as a whole. I’ve visited this location 4 or 5 times over the last two years or so. I visited yesterday. For me, it’s always been an easy place to do business at. I’ve never had to wait more than 5 minutes. Yesterday I waited about 30 seconds. The young lady helping me was friendly and patient. She was terribly efficient and took care of my needs quickly. I did ask questions and she answered each one in a friendly manner. There is plenty of parking, they keep it cool in the summer and warm in the winter. Very nice.

xfinity anything as far as dealing over the phone with sucks!
they are liars, give you wrong deals, ends up more and try to get someone competent? hello! don’t trust that they will do the right thing. they are all looking for big commissions so they will cheat you. check your bills and complain and keep bothering them day in and out till it gets straigtened out. get your act together before you lose all your customers. everyone says you are liars and cheats! a lady who said her name was ronald is a liar. sure it wasn’t her name-​beware of the customer service and sellers. they are only there to make money and don’t give a darn about the customer! the management sucks big time too. they must have to pay for all those dumb commercials on tv so they try to rip you off.

This is a review for THIS service center in Maywood, not Comcast the entity.
I’ve visited many Comcast service centers (of whats left of them) and my experience at this location was great. The woman was helpful with a smile & exchanged my equipment easily and quickly. Granted I was first in line, but I had expectations reading these reviews beforehand.
Sure Comcast is a horrible entity to deal with sometimes, but THIS location was helpful.

The worst customer service I have every had. They seemed to make it a joke on the online chat. Then in person they do not recognize their customers.

This service center was actually good. Fast and friendly. But the customer service call that led me here was awful. I could hear the rep looking up «dvr» as he was trying to figure out what I was asking. Then he told me to power down my dvr. (as if I hadn’t done that more than once already. They need to do so many things to fix this company, but they are printing money and we are all trapped. Makes me sad. I think I’ll go get a milkshake to make me happy.

I OFFICIALLY «HATE» and am «DISAPPOINTED» with your service as well as your customer advocates! Comcast/​Xfinity Sucks and I DO NOT RECOMMEND IT TO ANYONE!!! If you are lucky enough to live in a area that has other good providers… make them your FIRST/​PRIMARY/​ONLY choice for Internet, Cable and/​or Phone service. I have called 10 times today alone and now they have some sort of block that my calls wont go through unless I use a different phone! The tech told me there was probably a glitch in the system. REALLY?! An intentional one in my opinion if not how do you account for me gaining access from another phone. AGAIN my message to everyone is «DO NOT PATRONIZE THIS COMPANY!!!»
10 attempts, 4 live people, 5 disconnects, 1 request to leave a callback # and still no response, 1 useless service tech to have the problem reappear today, January 14^th alone!!!
Yesterday — January 13^th, 7 attempts, 2 disconnects
2 days prior — January 12^th, 1 attempt — prompt stated outage in area, Callback acknowledged «outage» was fixed. However my problem not resolved
Not to mention the barrage of prompts and wasted time!!!
My request is simple… please provide me with excellent service. I do not call unless there is a problem which can be verified by reviewing my account.
Problems:
Primary — Internet connections drops in and out. No Reliability! While using a device the signal can drop and then reconnect itself. Example 1: On the laptop, I may be reading or writing an email. When I go to send or retrieve another it tells me service is not available and you see will check in 30 seconds or 1 minute. Example 2: Again on laptop, while browsing the internet and clicking on a video, it buffers too long and may play choppy (play for a second, stop buffer, play another second or two, stop and buffer and so on) this continues until I either stop it and wait a minute or two to let it catch up or refresh. Example 3: While using my AppleTV, I am listening to musics and at any point it will stop and display «itunes is not currently available». If I click back and play again, sometimes it works and other times I have to do this a second or third time then the music plays for so long and I have to repeat the cycle. Example 4: very similar to ex 3, however this time using Hulu Plus, the show will stop and I have to go back, then play then resume where left off. Example 5, while using my cellphone to avoid data usage, Im attempting to go on FaceBook or even ABC news and the same buffering may occur when Im trying to watch a video or sometimes even connect. Earlier today I attempted to open up Gasbuddy and it couldn’t connect. Despite all of this instances being in small burst these are not examples of a SOLID connection.
I requested new boxes and was told I needed to upgrade to X1 to get those. I then asked to just replace my boxes with the same kind and was told if the problem still exist it was a waste of time. After finally talking to the retention department who agreed to send me new boxes, I later agreed to the X1 upgrade. HOWEVER, similarly to the remark from the tech, Even if I get that upgrade that will NOT fix my problem. I just want my service to work without issue. I want to utilize the service for its intended purpose sans the aggravation and problems. Again I have another tech (I requested a different tech/​supv) to come out tomorrow but felt compelled to write this email to express my disappointment and share that I posted the first paragraph to the xfinity FB page, Xfinity messages, my FB timeline and my twitter account. This is not good business. For a large conglomerate like yourself there should be better response time, less prompts and «system glitches», more reliability, less aggravation, better customer service. The only people equipped to assist me was your retention department and I’m sure they have been trained and coached to do just that. I should receive the same level of service at all levels. I have more to say and will share further details to a trained specialist that contacts me directly.
Bottom line: I would like to have reliable service and therefore I WANT MY PROBLEM RESOLVED!!! I would like to be REMOVED from the «do not accept call list AND would like a call back to discuss this further
Additionally I will be forwarding pictures of my call log to your FB page since the option is not available here as well as list my secondary concern
Secondary — My TV occasionally freezes whether ON Demand or regular channels. I don’t have as many instances but enough report

Like other customers, I unfortunately have to give at least one star. (This is one thing I don’t understand about Unilocal). I have been dealing with problems with Comcast since I moved into my home in 2005. Numerous, numerous problems with our wireless service. Our family has just come to the conclusion that it sucks and will never get better. I’m done dealing with the complete idiots they hire for customer service. Half of them don’t speak good English and I don’t have the patience to deal with them anymore. I just hung up on a rep because the conversation was taking three times as long as it should have because of the language barrier. Ridiculous! I’ve tried many times over the years to switch carriers, but unfortunately only Comcast is offered in my immediate area. We have also had to call Comcast out on two different occasions over the years because we have lost service due to a technician disabling our service at the box out back in order to give a neighbor service. Really Comcast?! The second a new carrier is offered in my area, I’ll be the first to sign up!

If I could give no stars I would. I have had so many problems with the customer service department at comcast. I had to wait one week for them to cancel my subscription to comcast and they charged me for that week. I was told when I returned all my equipment that I had no balance and that everything was taking care of. Well I got a bill a month later saying I had an outstanding payment past due. When I called customer service they basically blamed me for the charges not being paid even when I asked multiple times if I had a balance prior. I will never use comcast again and I hope other people do not get fooled by their customer loyalty crap that is a complete joke.

This is negative 5 stars but i had to press 1 to post it at all. I waited two weeks for a scheduled appt for internet install on June 5. They ran out of modems. 6 calls later hours of waiting and many lies from customer service Cheryl & Jamie supervisor etc to learn follow up apt was done wrong. Go to another internet provider. Don t bother with Comcast.

This review is for Comcast Customer Service through the 866 and 800 customer service numbers. If I could give Comcast multiple NEGATIVE stars, I gladly would. I spent over 4 hours on the phone with various «customer service» reps, plus an additional 45 – 60 minutes on hold, over the course of 2 telephone conversations in which I was trying to get resolution on a credit that was owed to me for disconnected service. At the end of my last call, I agreed to hold for a supervisor so I could express my frustration and register a complaint. I was on hold for that supervisor for more than 45 minutes; when someone finally picked up and I gave the overview of all that I was complaining about, I was hung up on. Unbelievable. I will NEVER pay another dime to Comcast again. I would rather throw myself and my TV out the window than endure this type of abuse again. Save yourself the pain and aggravation and HIGH COSTS and find another alternative to Comcast.
