Baldino’s Lock & Key Service

I went to McLean hardware and they couldn’t duplicate my key so they suggested I try Baldinos. I was in and out within 2 minutes and the guy behind the counter (didn’t get his name) was EXTREMELY nice and helpful! I would highly recommend this place!

If i could give zero stars i would.
I have used Baldino’s for years and will never, ever work with them again after today. I have never met anyone as rude as Dewey, the technician that was sent to re-​key our locks. He was nasty, demeaning, and overall seemed pissed off at the world. From the moment he walked in he was clearly and openly hostile. To make matters worse when i called to request another person, Debbie, the owner of the company couldn’t have cared less. She has absolutely no regard for her customers or how her people are representing her company. Her complete unwillingness to do anything to resolve this situation is why i will be using another company for all of my properties.

I have used Baldino’s for about 10 years — they have worked on my homes (current and former) and my office building. However, I had my last experience with them after talking to dispatch today. Not only was the person that answered the phone rude but the supervisor was no better.
I suppose they have enough business not to need to politely serve long time loyal customers so I will be taking my business elsewhere. (I will miss their great locksmith though, he was a joy to work with.)

I needed a key made quickly the other day so I called Baldino’s. The guy who picked up, answered all of my questions, and he made the key for me quickly. The service was friendly and reasonable.
