Order online. Why deal with the inattentive and inaccurate service at the store? I have previous experience working in retail and their customer service is inexcusable. A sales associate spends more than an hour on me and lets me know my size isn’t in stock. When I receive the package the size is not right. Wow. You guys have one job.

I received a gift from this store and had a gift receipt. There was no mention on the gift receipt about a time limit on returns. In fact, it stated something to the effect that if you are making a return with a gift receipt you’ll get a store credit for the amount paid — no mention as to time frame at all. Yet, when I tried to return the item with the gift receipt, I was told it couldn’t be done. After discussing the legalities of not living up to the terms they put in writing on their receipt… I was then offered a store credit in the amount of approximately $ 7.00 vs the $ 136.00 value of the gift receipt.(«current selling price») After continued debate and demanding that they live up to the printed terms on their receipt, they finally came around and provided the store credit for the full amount. I don’t feel I should have had to fight for it. If I’d have been someone less assertive they would’ve totally screwed me! I don’t like stores that behave this way. It’s slimy and I wouldn’t go back to that store for this reason alone.

I absolutely hate Cole Haan’s return policy. I bought a $ 200+ pair of shoes here and decided to return them. I paid cash and apparently they don’t give back cash in store. I had to wait 8 weeks for a check from the corporate office. I hope they rethink their policy.

Cole Haan’s quality products is the only reason for giving this store two stars. I’ve been here multiple times, and with each visit the service worsens. Last time I went to this store, only one sales associate, Samantha, was helping multiple customers. While Samantha ran around the store in an attempt to help four costumers at once, the other sales associates just stood around focused on doing anything but work. This should be unacceptable behavior at any retail store, but even more so at a high end retailer like Cole Haan.

First off, I like Cole Haan shoes — they are good for daily wear. Next about this store in Tysons 2 — small little store with limited selection here. I have seen a better selection at their other locations :( Also the level of service is just a-okay. C’mon people, this store is in the best shopping mall of DMV — shoppers expect top notch service to say the least. The sales person took over 10 minutes to bring a pair of shoe out and then she gets the incorrect pair for us! Really? how busy are you guys are to mess this? We were the ONLY customers in the store at that time! So the 2 stars are just for the shoe and the store — none for service :(
