For two decades, Dr. Esteban Brown has provided his South Texas neighbors with advanced technology and caring treatment as they travel the road to parenthood. Dr. Brown and our Valley Fertility team understand that the journey many couples face can seem frustrating and overwhelming. Having trained at one of the most respected programs in the U.S., Dr. Brown acquired expertise and skills to identify infertility issues and create solutions for couples to achieve their ultimate goal: a healthy baby. After completing advanced degrees and specialized training, Dr. Brown returned to South Texas and now offers patients access to top-​notch care close to home. Our South Texas IVF clinic brings state-​of-​the-​art technology to the Valley area.

History

Established in 1992.

With a commitment to excellence and deep concern for his patients, Dr. Esteban Ortega Brown established the Reproductive Institute of South Texas in 1992. In the spring of that year, the first Valley Fertility clinic baby was born from artificial insemination. Since then, Dr. Brown continues to further the services rendered at the Valley’s Fertility Center, offering infertile couples options for conceiving a child.

Dr. Brown began his career by attending the prestigious Stanford University, receiving his Bachelors degree in Economics in 1979. He continued his education in medicine from 1979 to 1984 at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Texas where he earned his MD. Between 1984 and 1988, he completed his internship and residency at the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston, Texas with a specialty in Obstetrics and Gynecology.

Dr. Brown then completed a three-​year fellowship in Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility at the University of Pennsylvania.

Dr Brown is boarded in both Obstetrics and Gynecology and Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility.

He is native to the area, having graduated valedictorian in 1975 from PSJA High School.
