I’ve been to Shorty’s at least 3 times, and it’s an excellent choice if you need automotive maintenance in the McDonough area. The staff is knowledgeable and courteous, and Shorty, the proprietor, takes the time to explain whatever problem (s) your vehicle may have and the repair options thereof. The establishment is clean, and the wait time is reasonable for an auto repair shop. There is a T.V. in the lounge, typically set to ESPN, and also a vending machine if you get hungry while waiting. I’m not a car savvy guy, but even I was able to replace and install a car battery after some of Shorty’s advice. Remarkable!
