Growing up in the heating and air conditioning industry I was able to learn the trade early on. It wasn’t until I ventured out on my own that I learn fixing units was not all a good service company has to offer. Taking the time to listen and fully understand the extent of a home owner HVAC needs is something they will not soon forget about you. So many times I see technicians go to the problem and fix it without taking the time to insure that all the homeowners needs were met. Some problems exist in the system since the time it was installed. Because of this I have always tried teaching the importance of doing full system checks. Most important check, believe it or not is simply talking with the homeowner about the home, and the overall comfort year round. Yeah it takes longer to do this.
