History

Established in 2006.

Rock Solid Builders, Inc. was formed purely out of necessity after over a decade in the construction industry. The owner had more side jobs than he could handle while working full-​time for a national home builder so with the help of his wife, Rock Solid Builders, Inc. was formed. RSB identified a need in the area for a contractor that specialized in deck building and over the years, we have built our business up to be the area’s Premier Deck Builder. We now have five talented carpenters on staff and it is very common for the owner to work on projects as well. Although we have grown into a much larger company than when we started, we are proud to still uphold our goals of Quality, Service, Commitment, and Value!

Meet the Business Owner

Butch W.

Business Owner

Before starting Rock Solid Builders, Butch worked in both the residential and commercial union construction fields. While working in commercial construction, he worked his way up to Superintendent for a company that remodeled large retail stores all over the country. Although he thoroughly enjoyed traveling throughout the US, he switched gears and transitioned to residential construction before marrying his wife and starting a family. During his time in residential construction, he built many relationships with the homeowners he was working with and they would frequently ask him to do work on their homes. These jobs led to more jobs and before he knew it, there was more work for him than he could handle working for another company. That is when he decided for start RSB in early 2006. When Butch isn’t busy running RSB, he enjoys time spent with his wife of over 10 years and their two sons. He also enjoys cheering on his favorite team, the Chicago Bears!
