Castle Creek Pet Resort & Spa

We stopped in to check out this facility and see about availability for our dogs. The receptionist handed us a flyer and told us the cost. Instead of talking to us about the facility or offering a tour (which other facilities have done), she just stared at us. We asked about availability, which she confirmed, and then told us about the times they are full (not the dates we inquired about). As we left, my husband said it felt like she was trying to discourage us from bringing our dogs there.

I love this place! I take my Newfoundland here, and was a little hesitant because at previous groomers my dog has come home stressed and exhausted. This time however I was so happy to see my boy happy and relaxed. This to me shows excellence in service. The second time I took him, they were already waiting for him, my newf was happy to see them, and didn’t worry about going back. Normally I wouldn’t even dare board my dog, but with this place I’m now beyond comfortable leaving my dog baby here. I highly recommend you go here!

I have now boarded my 2 cockapoos at Castle Creek twice and used their grooming once (should have started earlier). I have nothing but great things to say about the staff, as they truly do care about each and every dog that walks into their doors. At pickup time, my dogs are excited but content as if they had really enjoyed their stay. I appreciate the staffs willingness to snap some photos of my pups during playtime and posting to FB, in which they are obviously having a blast interacting with the other guests. The only improvement would be to have a live feed link available. As for the grooming, well let’s just leave it at meticulous perfection. Keep up the great work Castle Creek!!!

CCPR has the WORST customer service. They are very rude when you call to make an appointment. Don’t bring your pets here, you will regret it.
I am not sure what there is to be confused about. my family is in your database so just because it’s not directly under my name doesn’t mean I wasn’t a client of yours. I called in regarding an issue with y’all not having Saturday appointments anymore but it wasn’t me who called and got «really angry» so you must be referring to some else.
It’s upsetting you don’t take Saturday appointments anymore because we loved the worked you did on our dog. Plus, the past couple of times I have called who ever answers the phone always has an attitude and isn’t friendly. We know a couple other client of yours that have said the same thing about the customer service they receive from you all as well. With this being said, I am not putting down the work that we have had done on our dog from your company in the past. I am putting down the customer service your company gives. We now have found a new groomer that we love so there are no worries for us anymore! Thanks :)

I don’t recommend this place. The owner is not honest. My dog was injured there and she could careless. She lets dogs come in there that are not current on their shots. She also lies and tells you that when your dog boards they get let out 4 times a day and which in fact they don’t. She is very unprofessional and doesn’t need to be running a business. She also goes through employees which throws up a red flag. Reminds me of a petsmart environment when employees are coming and going. This place is far from being a luxury resort. Just because it’s in Stonebridge means nothing. Horrible management in this place. Please BEWARE!!!

I called to see if they had openings for my dog in April. Yes, and invited us to come by and check it out «anytime». Next day we did. When I walked in we identified ourselves and were told no we couldn’t see where the dogs were with our dog because «they have so many dogs boarded that they would go nuts» hmmmmm ok. Red flag # 1 So then I asked if I could go back alone. «Not where the dogs were actually kept because it’s a … Wait for it… Dog Safety issue. Huh?
I’ve been boarding my dogs for business trips etc for years and never gone into a kennel without transparency. What are they hiding? Lack of business? Red flag # 2.
Stark, depressing, no doggie toys visible in the cold indoor playroom. No place for communal play for small dogs like mine. Rows of concrete kennels, 3 employs, 2of whom look like they man the phones and 1 guy to supposedly walk all the dogs 6 times a day. It’s also approximately 20 bucks more per night than other less luxurious (eye roll) doggie hotels. This looked more like doggie Alcatraz. No thanks. Like daycare for children listen to your gut instinct. If it tells you something is wrong, it probably is.
I admit I haven’t boarded a dog there, but I’m not fooled by the location, and the fancy stonebridge exterior. It’s all about the people, not the fancy building. Dogs need people who want to be there, toys, fresh food, water and some attention. For 50 a night that’s not too much to ask.
And to start of the whole thing by telling me I can’t see where my dog will be kept is a deal breaker.

The people at Castle Creek are so sweet! They took great care of my anxious dog — they set her up with a sweet, compatible dog to play with while she wasn’t being groomed. She was so much happier when I picked her up than she was at the previous groomer (in another state) that crated the dogs while they wait. Not having her crated all day was a huge plus. Her coat looks super shiny and nails very neat. I’ll definitely be back and recommend Castle Creek for sure!

Castle Creek is a fantastic business! Ashley and Desiree are the BEST groomers in Texas. My baby, Ducky, has been going to them for almost two years and every time he looks stunning. You never have to go home and touch up or fix something. The grooms are perfect!
They are also magicians with creative grooming. From Mohawks to Santa Claus these ladies are talented! Ducky loves his dye jobs and feels like a rocker when he gets his Mohawk. He was the cutest dog at the Texas Rangers game thanks

I highly recommend them to anyone and everyone. They are funny, sweet, personable and KIND women that will take care of your baby. They rally for rescues, shelter pets and spoiled rotten pets! I travel almost two hours for them to groom my shih-​tzu and it is WELL worth it!
