Christian Brothers Concrete provided terrible customer service, was dishonest, and the final patio they delivered after 3 tries look awful. We first contacted Christian Brothers Concrete on 05÷07÷15 about adding a stamped concrete patio to the back yard. On ⁰⁵⁄₁₃ Roger Clark came out to the house and pitched his services. He promised a professional job that would be complete within two days once it was scheduled. On 05÷29÷15 Richard, the sales rep, came out to finalize the plans. After the meeting and cutting a check for as a down payment, ⁰⁶⁄₃₀ was set as the day for demo. Richard promised the demo job can be complete in one day. ⁶⁄₂ was selected as the start date to pour the concrete. It rained on the 30^th but Richard did not contact us to reschedule. On ⁶⁄₂ a crew started demo and framing the patio. They did not demo the existing sidewalk, as was promised. No rebar was laid. ⁶⁄₃ ­ No one showed up ­ no calls ⁶⁄₄ ­ No one showed up ­ no calls ⁶⁄₅ ­ No one showed up ­ no calls ⁶⁄₆ ­ No one showed up ­ no calls ⁶⁄₈ ­ No one showed up ­ no calls ⁶⁄₉ ­ Concrete poured ­ Terrible job. They left exposed rebar ­ horrible coloring and texture. Just a terrible job. Even started painting the patio the wrong color. Thankfully they were stopped. When the crew thought they were complete they asked for the final check. ⁶⁄₁₀ ­ Crew came back to fix original problems ­ patio still looked terrible. Crew again asked for the check. ⁶⁄₁₁ ­ On a phone call with Roger he apologized for the poor service and blamed all of it on Richard. He said he wished Richard would not give out his cell number and just let Debra in the office handle everything. He apologized for the poor work and promised it would be fixed. He had Debra in the office call me back to set up a time he could come out and look at the patio himself. Debra called and said the first availability he had was ⁶⁄₁₅ between 11:00 and 11:30. We guaranteed someone would be at the house. ⁶⁄₁₅ ­ Roger arrived with Richard after being told that Richard was no longer welcome on our property. It did not matter whom was meeting with him, anyone with eyes could see how horrible the work was. He claimed the patio looked good. After being told it did not, he huddled with Richard to come up with a plan to fix the problems. Problems he just claimed did not exist but now was able to formulate a plan to fix them. A crew including Richard came to fix the problems. They somehow managed to make everything worse. The lines they cut into the patio are not straight. The coloring was wrong again. and the original sub­par concrete pour is still displaying all of its horrible traits. ⁶⁄₁₆ ­ No one showed up ­ no calls ⁶⁄₁₇ ­ No one showed up ­ no calls 6/​18­ No one showed up ­ no calls ⁶⁄₁₉ ­ No one showed up ­ no calls ⁶⁄₂₀ ­ No one showed up ­ no calls ⁶⁄₂₂ ­No one showed up ­ no calls ⁶⁄₂₃ ­ Crew including Richard came back and re­stained and sealed the patio. In their haste they sprayed both the stain and the seal at the same time. This left thousands of little bubbles all over the patio. Now it looks like a poorly poured concrete job with odd coloring, non­straight lines, and covered in bubbles. ⁶⁄₂₄ ­ Debra left a voicemail ⁶⁄₂₅ ­ We called Debra back. Explained again what all of the issues were and Debra told him she would call him back in 5 minutes with next steps. ⁶⁄₂₅ ­ Five minutes later ­ no phone call. ⁶⁄₂₆ ­ No phone call We have not received a call from them since ⁶⁄₂₅. At this point we can longer trust Christian Brothers Concrete to even call us back no less do an adequate job.

Christian Brothers Concrete is far from acting as Christians should. DO NOT use this company. Our job was started in March completed in June. Damage left behind– front lawn has concrete block, sprinkler system broken (pipes cut), peep holes in retainer wall filled with concrete etc… I could go on and on. They never answer the phones nor return messages. They ask for money before they do any work… Should have been a sign… Good companies don’t need money upfront !!!
We are pursing legal action. Do not use this company!

We’ve been trying to get Christian Brothers Concrete to repair significant cracks in a resurfacing job they did for us in April 2015. We’ve called and emailed multiple times without a response. They promised to call ⁷⁄₂₈ to schedule and never called us back. Now I read here they are out of business? Freakin’ awesome! I am pursuing a small claims suit against the owner, Rodger Clark. I’ve tried all the phone numbers I had and they are all disconnected. I’ll try to find this Rodger Clark and when I do will publish his home phone. Sounds like a crook to me.
Went to the Christian Brothers Concrete address on their website — a PO box in a UPS store in McKinney, Tx. These guys are certainly not «Christian» by any stretch, as purported on their website (s). Nearly perfect scam — intended from the outset I suspect. I will however find one or all of these crooks — police have been notified and I’ll hire private investigator if needed. I am owed nearly $ 2,700 for a shoddy, albeit «guaranteed» project… they just don’t care — how unfortunate that they choose to live like this and make their money by basically stealing, shuttering their business, and then I suspect open another enterprise to do the same all over again. «Owners» are supposedly named Rodger Clark, Dave Cote, and Jeff Miller… buyer beware.

This company is by far the worst I have dealt with. They dug and left a pile of dirt on my backyard. A day before they’re scheduled to pour concrete, they told me they’re closing for good and they will only refund me less than I initially gave them for down payment. Charging me $ 500 for labor. Now they are ignoring my calls plus I dont have my refund. Lets all get together and get help maybe through media and BBB. This people changed their website to

We hired Christian Brothers Concrete to pour a stamped and stained patio in our back yard. Throughout the estimate process the owner, Rodger Clark, was easy to work with and we felt comfortable with him. We scheduled a patio pour the following week. His team came out on time and removed grass, capped sprinklers and set up forms on time. We did have some weather roll in and out of Dallas over the next 2 months but the concrete did not get poured until the end of the time frame. At least 5 times they said that they would be out the following day and they never showed up. My wife and I had to keep calling for updates. Sometimes they would show up and do some work, leave, and not tell us that they were leaving or when they would be back. Rodger’s lead man, Richard, is extremely unreliable and flaky. Finally, the concrete was poured nearly two months late. They left, came back the next day and stained it. Richard missed several spots while staining, you could see a glossy area right next to a dull one. When the forms were pulled off there was an extremely rough and ugly finish to the concrete. I called Richard and complained and he again put off the issue. We had several things on our patio (lawn furniture, BBQ, etc…) and he kept saying he would be there the next day so we would move everything off the patio and he wouldn’t show up. After a couple of weeks I told Richard very firmly that I expect the work be completed ASAP. I followed up with a phone call to Rodger and told him my very firm expectations as my patience was completely worn out. Richard did restain the concrete and he did a half cocked job of smoothing out the edges but it in no way looks anywhere near the pictures on their website. When Richard showed up to do the final work he told my wife that I was rude to him and said please don’t leave a bad review. Too late.
The saga continued on ⁵⁄₂₄ when I received a letter from the concrete supplier that Christian Brothers used to deliver the concrete. They said that they were giving notice that a mechanics lien would be placed on my home because Christian Brothers failed to pay their bill. I called Rodger and demanded that this be addressed by Tuesday the 27^th. It was sort of addressed and I needed more information which was provided Wednesday.
I cannot think of a scenario where I would ever recommend these guys.

I would give this company a Zero star if I could! Very unprofessional, liars and poor workmanship. We have had to stay in a hotel and with family because they left our house in such a mess and used a toxic sealant that is not safe to breathe. The sealant was poured so thick it puddled and dried permanently. They refused to repair cracked concrete that they just poured 2 days prior. The project manager Richard was Very unprofessional and spoke to myself and his workers in a derogatory manner. His boss Roger refused to take ownership for the faults or ensure that the problems would be fixed. I could go on and on. Simply put, do Not do not use this company for any service you may need! You will regret!!!
