McKinney Dental Group and Orthodontics

Excellent service. Teeth are bright and clean. Great job. Really liked the dentist and the entire staff. I’m happy to find a good dentist that’s close by and I don’t have to make the trek to Dallas. I’m happy.

I’ll keep it short and sweet. I hate the dentist. BUT here, they made me feel like I was part of the family. They were prompt, courteous, and friendly. I felt at ease. They were not pushy about extra services, helped me find the best treatment plan for my budget, and Dr. Ed has the best bedside manner you can ask for. I am completely impressed and so happy I found this practice for my family.

I went in with 2 children. Both needing semi-​annual cleanings. They focused solely on the billing. They wanted 2 different co-​pays. When I explained to them they were incorrect, they insisted no, and that I had to fight it out with the insurance company. Long story short: they were wrong, I was right and my daughter’s filling fell out less than 1 year later. Looking for a new dentist.

Worst dental experience ever. I went in to have some bridgework done. Every bridge that they made did not fit. This included 4 month of return visits and painful packing of cord around my teeth. I initially gave them a 50% deposit and even before I had a bridge they wanted payment in full even though they said payment was not due until my bridge was complete and delivered. They then sent me to collections. I still do not have a bridge and it has been 4 months, 4 failed poorly fitting bridges and at least 10 or more visits. I asked for my money back and they agreed but I do not trust them after this debacle. I will keep you up to date.
Update; I finally got my bridge after about 6 months, 5 or more office visits and about 2 or more bridges that did not fit. The final bridge fits OK and I only accepted it because I could no longer stand going back there for fitting after fitting.
I firmly believe they mean well but they just don’t have any dental labs that can perform quality work.
Historically I have only had my bridge replaced one time before and it was done in just one visit not including the final fitting for a total of 2 visits, not the 15 or more visits that were necessary at McKinney Dental group and Orthodontics.

As my husbabd said, «The best trip to the dentist I’ve ever had.» That is all.

I’ve been in the Dallas metroplex for a few years now, and had yet to find a dentist office I really liked until I visited McKinney Dental Group. I was very impressed with the customer service I received here. Monica B. and Greg K. were the first to greet me. Both were very welcoming and communicative with the information and processes during my visit. Since I was considered a new patient I had to have all my exams done. Melissa was excellent and made me feel at ease. The entire staff including Dr. Chitre were wonderful and offered me a great dental work plan. I was scheduled to get my wisdom teeth extracted a couple weeks later by Dr. Selkin who also delivered!
This location is the epitome of a great dental office! You bet I will let my friends and co-​workers know about my experience here.

Kept waiting for hidden cameras to be pointed out — this place was that GOOD. Never have I been to a dentist where everyone you meet on staff is super kind. Jamie, Dr. Loving and Mr. King were so nice to my family today. Our first visit. Plan on going back. The office was super clean. Great location. Can’t say enough good things. Thanks so much!

I had a great visit at the McKinney Dental Group office. From the x-​rays and dental assisting of Cuncilla to the expert cleaning and filling work done by Dr. Loving. I will definitely be back for all of my and my family’s dental needs.
