I discovered Orisons via a recommendation on a hometown Internet forum. I had two full sized autographed movie posters that I had been wanting to get framed literally for years, but had just been waiting for the right time and financial situation, as I knew the type of framing that I wanted wouldn’t come cheap. Well, Christmas of 2013 was the time, so off to Orisons I went. They took plenty of time to go over the options with me, and I wanted some custom touches that were outside of their normal domain, but they had contacts with another company who could help(specifically, the«NOWSHOWING» plaque that’s visible in the photo I posted). The work was finished exactly when they said it would be, and aside from a minor issue with one of the posters that was resolved without issue, the results were fantastic! I would definitely go to Orisons again for my framing needs, and as has been noted, they have a lot of local art that is very beautiful as well, it’s worth the trip to historic downtown McKinney for a look!

Great job, quick turnaround, I use them for all my framing needs. However, customer service is definitely their weakest point and could use some improvement.

I really like this gallery because it feels like it is more adventurous, displaying a more diverse mix of mediums from local artists. It also seems to be more up-to-date with technology because it goes beyond just framing to offering to take your digital prints and transfer them to canvas or enlarge them to make them really pop. They have recently gotten a bunch of old antique photos of McKinney’s Downtown and can enlarge any of those that you might want and frame them. We bought an enlarged print of the old Courthouse the way it was before they took off the Provincial roof in the 20’s. In the photo, the courthouse is surrounded by tons of Model T’s and one horse and buggy. It’s so cool. And the guy has a really good eye for selecting good mat colors.
