This was actually not too bad. I see a lot of Hispanics with these cups and decided… hey, why not give it a try? It might be good. It was not too bad. The main dish was the half/whole chicken. It was pretty good. Although they already pre made everything, it came out immediately, and it seemed fresh too. My buddy and I got to go in the afternoon and both got the half chicken special. There was also free chips and salsa that you can walk and scoop up yourself. Area is pretty clean, and I would go here again for some more of that chicken!

This review will focus on the presentation more than the actual taste — I have a tremendous head cold which I why I ordered the chicken soup(sopa de pollo), and can’t actually taste much other than salt. First of all, for just over $ 7 you get a portion for Two OR enough for one sick person who hasn’t eaten much else all day. It comes with a side of rice to dump in and five white corn tortillas(as well as jalapeños that I asked to be omitted because I’m not into the burn). The chicken is a whole double breast that you’ll need to fork off the bone, as well as a half baked skin-on potato that’s been diced a bit. Lots of tomato bits, celery, and onion to give just the right balance of veg and color. The tortillas are kind of a useless side as anything other than a cracker stand-in but they were still nice to have. NOT overly salty and without the pepper, there was no mouth heat at all. I’ll be shocked if I finish all this but I’m sure going to enjoy trying! And I’ll order it again some cold winter day when I’ve regained my olfactory senses.

Hubby and I both had the rotisserie chicken. It comes in a little package with a cooked onion. The chicken has great flavor, but a little on the dry side. I’m not usually a rice fan, but the rice is SO good!

My absolute favorite Mexican restaurant in the area, fast food or sit down. Love the salsa and everything tastes incredibly fresh. So surprised by the quality of this«fast food» chain. I’m a frequent visitor for a reason.

We split the half chicken combo for lunch and basically made fajitas out of the chicken. It was tasty, but messy. The beans were very Good. We both ate for only $ 10.05, awesome price.

You can’t even imagine how I am waiting for Blue Goose to open next door. Been at Regio’s twice now — first and last time. A Mexican food establishment and you don’t have queso and by that I mean the liquid kind, is very strange. That should have been a hint. Sorry, I have to give one star to get my review in, but if I could give negative stars, I would.
