Excellent Club sandwich… I keep dreaming of having another, I wish I had all the ingredients on hand to make these at home… Love my Subway club!

Ordered catering from them, very professional! My sandwiches were 100% correct, generous portions, and they delivered them early. I was also very happy to discover this location serves gluten free bread and brownies. I called them the night before my order and I spoke to two kind young people who were very helpful in answering my questions about the GF meals. Would recommend them for catering!

I live nearby but have always gone to the one at Custer & El Dorado– that restaurant is staffed by adults who have clearly been trained to make a decent sandwich & to behave in a professional manner. I have now tried this location at El Dorado & Lake Forest twice, because it is right on my way home & easier to stop at. The 1st time a very young kid waited on me & attempted to be friendly with his unfunny joking around(I just want my sandwich, please don’t make this take longer than necessary) & did a terrible job. Literally the most sloppy, stingy sandwich I’ve ever had at a subway. The 2nd time it was this same kid along with another kid(taller, sullen, unfriendly). The taller one made my sandwich this time & it was decently prepared, but the both of them were SO distracted watching the door, scrutinizing everyone who came in– as if they were looking for a buddy to arrive or anything interesting to happen, that it was just a weird, awkward experience. I’ll happily drive out of my way to the Custer store now– two unpleasant experiences is two-too-many. You can see from my other reviews that I’m a pretty positive diner who mostly writes positive reviews, and I realize this is a $ 5 sandwich. I don’t ask for much, but this store doesn’t even meet my relatively low, reasonable standards for fast food.
