These folks are the best — I have an 86 Mercedes, and they fixed my non-​working power window within 24 hours, including ordering the part, for a very reasonable price. I have never had this kind of service for this car anywhere else — it is usually long delays to get the parts and then an extremely high price. I am extremely grateful to them for their professional, prompt and very reasonably priced service and hope lots of people give them business!!!

I highly recommend this shop! I was driving our Chrysler Pacifica from NC visiting family in DC. My car started to overheat on a Thursday during rush hour traffic. I called the shop as they are open til 10pm. One of the mechanic (John) was willing to stay later since my car was being towed to the shop. Also spoke with Sean several times at the shop and they got my car fixed at an affordable price too! Thank you Chesterbrook Excel for doing a GREAT job and getting me back on the road!

I strongly recommend the Team at Chesterbrook Excel. I have been taking all of cars to see these guys for years. The work they have done keeping my aging BMW up to snuff has been exemplary. Car repair with personal service and a high degree of integrity. Excel will beat the prices at other repair shops, as well as performing repairs in less than 50 percent of the repair time.

Arnold is always friendly and honest about costs and required repairs. For repairs, I would drop off my car in the morning, walk across the street to take the bus to work, and pick up my car in the evening (all fixed)!. He asks if I need a ride everytime I drop off my car. They are my first go-​to for repairs and check ups etc.

Took my Chrsyler there after an outrageous experience with Toons at Tyson’s Corner. The owner, Harry Chang, is very competent and always friendly. Best of all, their prices are very competitive and I trust them that they will only repair what needs to be repaired. I will definitely take my car there for almost all kind of repairs again. Their «first come, first served» approach might not work for everyone, though.

Usually the least expensive gas in McLean and the surrounding area. I also believe the owner and mechanics possess a high level of integrity. I recently had a really expensive engine problem (timing chain needed to be replaced). While I pondered my options, the shop did not pressure me into any decision. The owner and mechanics spent a good deal of time diagnosing the problem. I ended up getting the engine replaced at a specialty engine shop. However, Excel did not charge me anything for the time already spent. I have used them numerous times and have never felt cheated. I have already begun to refer my family to these guys.
