I love the food at Chipotle and I have been to many Chipotle restaurants across the country. Unfortunately, this is the only Chipotle that I have been to that can’t manage a crowd. This store always has a long line, but it is not because they have more customers than the average Chipotle, it it attributable to the fact that the service is so poor and so slow. I tried to work around this problem by ordering on-line, but that was even worse. Inevitably, I would show up at the promised pick-up time only to find that they had not even yet started on my order. I would then have to wait for at last another 10 minutes while they put together my order. I tried complaining once to the manager, but she did not seem to care. Skip this location and head to Tysons or Vienna. Even if you have to drive 10 minutes out of your way, you will still have your food faster than if you wait in line at the McLean Chipotle.

So upon arriving at the chipotle I noticed it was booming, thought to myself«Oh we in there!» Service was decent at most, but that’s why I took the time out of my day to right this review. I’m here now to tell you that this chipotle is an absolutely piece of shit. Licking the floor would provide s better source of flavor than eating that jank ass rice.(Where’s the cilantro?) the lady who worked from the salsas down is very stingy with her portioning. I’m paying 12 dollars for this shit? No ma’am, no ham, no turkey. The deli is closed, or rather the chipotle in this case. Skimped me on Guac so hard. Never coming back. Third try with this place and its consistently a piece of shit. Rice isn’t supposed to be crunchy…

When you can count the number of pieces of chicken you get in your burrito bowl on 2 hands, there’s an issue. There is no consistency here and the food is stale. I understand it’s a business and you can’t just be handing out piles of food, but really?! Eight pieces of chicken? This is the worst Chipotle that I’ve been to in the area. This location reflects poorly on the entire franchise.

Part of me wants to give this place 1 star, and another part wants to give this place 5 stars. Half of the employees are friendly and helpful, and when those employees are working, I leave this chipotle as a satisfied customer. The other half are absolutely INSUFFERABLE. If they’re not joking around amongst each other(consequentially neglecting their customers) or completely messing up on portion size, they look like they completely hate their job/life and have a very unpleasant tone of voice or expression on their face. Not to mention half of these people look like they need a drug test in their life. I DONTPAY10ISH dollars(plus tip) for a disproportioned burrito with a side of dirty looks from employees with an attitude problem.

I have been a regular customer to Chipotle and this Old Dominion place. However, I have been very disappointed for the past three dining experiences: rice is still raw and chews like dry powder; service is slow despite a bunch of people standing in the service line, steak is bleeding, vegetables(tomato) are even not fresh sometimes It used to be the favorite place for my son. Today I decided to tell the cashier that the rice was not well cooked. Apparently, the response I received seemed to be indifferent and so what. My concern is that Chipotle will turn into a failure very soon if they keep expanding without quality control. As customers, we will let our tongue and stomach decide where to dine. This place is a disgrace to Chipotle.

This place can get really busy b/c of its popularity with the teenagers. Plenty of parking since it’s located in a small office complex. The inside is kind of tight although customer turnover is quick.

This is LITERALLY the worst Chipotle I have ever been to. If I could give it 0 stars I would. Chicken was full of fat and cooked too long, their beans were essentially unseasoned, and they are inconsistent with their portions of toppings. I got 2 spoonfulls of beans, a tiny pinch of cheese, barely any chicken. Awful.

WHY? 1.) the line, everyone and their mom is in this line, all the high school kids come in here like freakin hyenas and its PACKED 2.) FOOD– it’s crap, portions are small, the food is cold 3.) Staff– unfriendly and slow, this is FAST food… 4.) Parking-no no no no no A Chipotle just wasn’t meant to open here the location is bad, the food is awful. Please if you want some good Chipotle just drive to Falls Church or Vienna.

Wow. I thought the ratings might be inaccurate. Nope. Not location of choice for chipotle. I’m annoyed by how little servings they give you coz they don’t have enough supplies to serve everyone. And it’s not that busy. Don’t bother going here. You’ll be happy with McDonald’s.

Love this place, I always order online to avoid the lines. I know what I want and I get what I want every time.

So I just finished lunch here — 2:02pm and this may probably the last time I come here. Parking wasn’t too bad, especially since its time for the lunch crowd. I was able to park in a reasonable space that wasn’t too far from the establishment. The restaurant is in a busy little building with a few other neighboring restaurants so it can be crowded. I walked in, and had I not been craving a burrito I probably would have walked back out. In line ahead of me were at least 20 patrons, all waiting and tapping their feet. Even the pick up/to go line was a little too long for my liking. After what seemed like 20 minutes I got to the front of the line, and the guy behind the counter begins to make my order. You could tell that no one is really managing the stock, because all the containers were near to being empty and needed to be refilled. Once we got to the condiments, the guy passed my bowl to a little girl working behind the counter who not only messed up on my bowl, but the lady in front of me and the guy behind me. She proceeded to just put what she thought I wanted on my bowl, not caring or realizing that I’m telling her its wrong. I didn’t make her redo my food unlike the other patron, I just wanted to get my food and go. Seating in this place is minimal, especially during lunch. I’ve seen worse, but because of the layout it reminds me of a school cafeteria, you have to sit between people, and it’s very hard to have a private lunch. They didn’t even have any of the stools and tables that I have usually come to find at chipotle. All in all, they’ve really go to do better

They’re usually missing something, No brown rice this time. It’s crazy loud inside. Yell at your table mate loud. Like 25 people working behind the counter, but still no efficiency. Only one cash register means no matter how fast your food moves down the line, it’s still going to sit there getting cold waiting on the people in front counting their change. The portions are meager. At best. I love chipotle as a brand, but this location pretty much sucks. I try to frequent this one as little as possible, get my fix at the location by home instead of work.

Called & ordered burrito boxes…15 of each kind of burrito that they offer. VERYSIMPLEORDER! It was like pulling teeth to get this order in… should’ve taken 3mins on the phone… ended up taking almost 20mins. Then i show up(24hrs later) and its not ready… SHOCKER. Took them another hour &15mins to get the order together. Ended up NOT taking extra sides & chips b/c I was already late & needed to rush thru Fri traffic. Also ordered(5) burrito bowls online separate from the large order… EVERYSINGLE order was incorrect. This place blows — don’t waste your time.

Update– I have contacted corporate twice to talk about conditions here. They said they’d «send a note to management“z which reads to me as «we really don’t give a shit». Im done with chipotle. I hope they open a qdoba nearby. I have to agree with other Negative reviews here. This chipotle is not up to par with others in the area. It’s dirty. Nobody can properly roll a burrito, the portion sizes are inconsistent, the line takes forever. There is one girl there that I can’t understand at all and I don’t think she can understand me because she always gets it wrong even when I’m pointing. A couple of guys sometimes in the assembly line move so slow that I swear they are stoned. The manager(I think) that works the cash register is polite with his words but his demeanor is off-putting. Like he makes me nervous. They are usually out of ice, one type or more of soda, lemons or napkins(not all at once). It’s a shame because this location is great. I will continue to come here because of the location but I hope the owners see these bad reviews and make some changes!

This place rocks! I’m here so often, some of them know my name. The meat is never over cooked like some of the other Chipotle restaurants. Other than that, Chipotle on the whole is really great food! It’s quick, it’s fairly healthy, and it hits the spot! My only gripe with them is that, although they use all organic meats and produce, the corn is still not non-GMO corn. I stay away from the corn and the corn chips now that I know that. What a shame, because they’re delicious. I get the salad bowl with fajita and double steak plus medium salsa, tomatoes and guac. Yummy!

This is by far the slowest and most dysfunctional Chipotle I have ever eaten at. It is located so close to me that it would be inconvenient to go anywhere else, but the service is so bad, I often consider doing just that. They are always out of one or more ingredients which holds up the line, even during non-peak hours. Portions are inconsistent and no one here can roll a burrito. The only bright spot is one cashier(possibly a manager) that actually seems to care about his job and customer service. Avoid this location if you can.

The worst chipolte ever. Do not eat here and go to any other one if you can. Ate at this location not too long ago. Basically they give you none of the product that you pay for. I had ordered the steak and counted 6 chunks of meat in the burrito. Every other chipolte I had eaten at my burrito was bursting. What a sorry place.

I was so excited when this location opened up right down the street from us!!! Yay! No more having to trek to the mall, deal with crowded parking and long lines… or not… I have been here about 10 times since it opened(The BF craves this place daily and after a long day of work we are too lazy to drive more than a mile for food) and I keep hoping that it will get better. I understood there would be some growing pains, training issues, slow service etc… but shouldn’t it be improving over time? Not getting worse? We use our iphone app to order carry out so that we can avoid the long line that this place always has. So we are never actually present when the food is being made — maybe that is why we have had such negative experiences with this particular location. Food: The food is inconsistently bad. Either my burrito bowl barely has any rice in it, OR the rice is so soggy it looks like rice pudding, OR there is so much rice in it that I can’t taste the other toppings. The burritos either fall apart or are so overly stuffed that they aren’t even completely wrapped. Service: The last time we went, we arrived at the expected time that the food should have been ready according to our app. Now we don’t mind having to wait a few minutes for our order… but this time we waited 57 minutes! It was prime dinnertime and we were starved. There was a long line yet the people in line got their food ahead of us. I asked the cashier if we should just wait in line and she kept telling us «they are working on your order right now…» Clearly we could see the assembly line and they clearly were not working on our order at all. Apparently our order got lost somehow and the cashier didn’t follow up with any of the line cooks. Very disappointing. I think this will finally be our last time going to this location.

Chipotle is Chipotle. You can’t really go wrong with the food. However this location was blasphemous and the worst I have ever been to. I am never in Mclean but had offered to pick up lunch before meeting a friend in the area. I used the online ordering for the first time and was very specific in their comments section on how I wanted my order and at what time. I arrived about 5 – 10 minutes after my designated pick up time and went straight to the counter. I was blatantly ignored for quite some time before the cashier finally acknowledged me. It took them another few minutes before they got around to packing my chips and salsa. I paid for my order and went to the side counter to pick up lemons and add some Tabasco Chipotle sauce only to discover that there were absolutely no lemons left or sauce in stock. I then proceeded to open my order based on a very wary feeling and am glad I did so because they got my burrito and burrito bowl completely wrong — the staff had neglected all of my comments for corn, extra lettuce, tortilla on the side, and minimal sour cream. Maybe I am being nit picky but there’s a reason I added those commends specifically and I was extremely irritated and disappointed since I had been craving Chipotle for months. I went back to the cashier who was extremely sassy with me and rolled her eyes at my complaint. An awkward 30 seconds of silence passed before I exasperatedly requested some corn on the side to go. I was running late and didn’t have time for them to remake my order since a long line had formed. Elsewise I would have been quick to have them do so and also speak with a manager. I simply refuse to return to this location in the future.
