There are no words to adequately praise Dr. Farahi and his amazing staff. I recently moved to the area, and was disappointed that I had to obtain a new dentist. I was very pleased with my previous dentist, and wasn’t sure that I’d get the same level of care in my new home. I am SO glad that I found Dr. Farahi on Unilocal.The entire office is outfitted with amazing, state-​of-​the-​art equipment. Prior to this, I had never had such an informative and gentle dentist appointment. Alexa, the dental hygienist, was amazing and made me feel at ease the whole time.
Unfortunately, all of this amazing technology unveiled several cavities that my past dentist had failed to detect. However, if I had to have anyone drilling in my mouth, I’d want it to be Dr. Farahi. I have a history of issues with needles — I faint and sometimes throw up, no matter what I do. Selam, the dental assistant, was incredible! She was joking with me and made me feel very at ease. At no point did anyone ever make me feel less-​than for getting queasy after the numbing. There was no pain at all, but I did feel a little sick after. They closely monitored me, reassured me, and even gave me a little oxygen, which brought me right back to normal. I instantly felt better, and the rest of the procedure was a snap. While needing dental work is no fun, I would obviously rather address the problem immediately, and have such an amazing team of professionals there to talk me through it. I plan to stay in McLean for the long-​run, and couldn’t be happier that I have found such a great dental practice to be there for all of life’s dental needs. I would whole-​heartedly recommend Dr. Farahi, Alexa, and Selam to anyone seeking phenomenal dental care. Thank you!

One of the most talented and compassionate doctors I’ve ever met. I have visited many dental offices and never experienced exceptional service from everyone who works in the office.
The staff is friendly and accommodating. Dr. Farahi takes you through every step of the procedure, his work is outstanding. If you need a dentist office then this is the place.

I always go to see Dr Farrahi even his office is far away from where I live. He is professional, knowledgeable. I broke my front tooth and Dr Farrahi did a great job treated in away that looks like the first way. I highly recommend him.

I am a new patient (referred by my dental surgeon) and so far my experience has been great. The office is beautiful; the staff is friendly and punctual. They communicate via text and email and have kindly accommodated my last minute appointment changes.
Dr. Farahi has good bedside manners; explains the procedures in detail, uses up-​to-​date technology and does a fast but very diligent job. He has put my interests above else and made conservative treatment decisions as needed.
I am planning on bringing my 19 month old son for a check up too, as Dr. Farahi’s wife sees pediatric patients

The best dentist in town. I live in Arlington but drive to McLean for my dental care. Modern office with great friendly staff and easy to schedule appointment. There is plenty of free parking. Highly recommended.

I moved to the area a few months ago. Before leaving, I made sure to schedule a cleaning at my previous dentist, whom my whole family loves. My mouth was perfectly healthy six months ago according to my previous dentist.
I saw Dr. Farahi and my children saw Dr. Esaam. Both are very friendly. However, these dentists found so many «problems» with my and my children’s teeth that I grew skeptical right away. Upon pushing Farahi for clarification, he changed the root of the «issues» three times. He tried to convince me that I absolutely needed extensive work done in my mouth. The same was true for my children. I went to another dentist a week later for a second opinion and guess what… no issues! I’m glad I had the wherewithal to seek further counsel before blindly following their advice. They wanted to «fix» 8 non-​existent cavities in my young daughter’s mouth, three for my son and schedule 6 services for my teeth.
It has been my experience that some people, no matter the profession, are trained to find problems. These dentists are those people. I don’t think they had bad intentions. I just think they are of the «better safe than sorry» mindset. However, I am of the «if it isn’t broke, don’t fix it!» mindset. Beware any «professional» prognosis. If you feel uneasy about what the professional is telling you, seek a second and third opinion. You know your body better than anyone else. There is no sense in spending thousands of dollars and countless hours having work done that is not necessary.
Overall, the atmosphere was nice. The two receptionists were extremely rude, but the rest of the staff was friendly. I really wanted to make them our permanent dentists because they are located very close to my home. However, I cannot force a fit in this case. Sadly, I will not return.

Always on time and professional. The hygienist is fast and very thorough. The dentist does a great job making me feel comfortable while drilling into my mouth. It is easy to make appointments which is great since I always make them so last minute! I highly recommend going to this office for all of your dental needs!
