I went to iBerry for the first time yesterday evening with a group. The moment we stepped foot inside the establishment, we were hit with the smell of shit. Literally, I kid you not– it smelled like human feces. Upon further observation of iBerry, I noticed a woman behind the counter(not sure if she is the owner or not), holding a baby in diapers and a small onesie, whom I assume to be the perpetrator of the awful odor. To make matters worse and to add to the serious health code violation this woman committed, she was bouncing the child up and down on the counter where people place their frozen yogurt cups and pay. I will not be patronizing iBerry ever again.

Really excited about a yogurt place in McLean but truly shocked by the prices. Double the price of pink berry, red mango or other local shops. Less than friendly.

Eh, skip it. The frozen yogurt flavors are not good and some taste«off.» And they only have 6 flavors, most of which are runny. Not only are the toppings limited but some were melted and did not look properly maintained. To top it off, the chick working there used a hand calculator and tried to short change me after I gave her a $ 20. Sweet Frog is way, way better.

We came here on opening night and have been back many times since it opened! I love their rotation of flavors — especially the cookies and cream & mango(not mixed together of course) They have cool futuristic tables inside and is a fun atmosphere for kids/families. The owners are very nice and always encourage us to taste every flavor. They set out little tasting cups for you to taste as many as you want. It is true the cup is quite large but nobody is forcing you to fill it up people! Like most fro-yo places, the cost is based on the weight of your cup. The toppings are decent and they have mochii and several flavors of liquid bursting fruity bubbles that my siblings love. They also have syrups and sauces that you can top your creation with. This is a great addition to Mclean and I really hope this business stays in town for a long time.

This was my first visit and I picked up a cup(there is only one size and it’s very large) and went to dispense and it was very thin and runny. After I tried the original which is was tart and then tried the sugar free vanilla — it tasted exactly the same. In total there were only SIX different flavors and the toppings were an AWFUL selection. The toppings were stale and the fruit was slim to none. I spent $ 5.55 and I totally overpaid. I will not be returning — ever.

McLean definitely needs a frozen yogurt shop. The yogurt is good, so that is worth 3 stars but there is an bad odor in the shop that I can’t quite figure out. I don’t like toppings in general but there seems to be a good variety. I understand that a new business sometimes doesn’t have everything figured out but they don’t even have plastic tops to take cups to go. The hours are also limited. My daughter and I drove by this past Saturday night at 9 pm and it was already closed.

With so much competition around, this is mediocre. One interesting topping was the bubbles filled with juice, so that when you bite it, you get a pop of juice. For a place that wasn’t very busy on a Saturday afternoon, it wasn’t very clean. They only offer one cup size, so it’s very easy to fill up. I thought the froyo was very soft because we were eating it outside in hot weather, but from reading other reviews, their froyo must be on the runny side. After tasting so many of the tart froyos in the area, the best is still the original found at Shilla Bakery in Annandale, which has been around way way longer than Pinkberry(although Pinkberry is my second choice).

I’m a huge fan. Yes, it’s expensive — especially since there’s only one size cup, and it’s a fairly large cup. As in, nearly pint size. I’m used to dishing out only kid sized portions for my little one, so it wasn’t a big deal. However, if you fill the cup all the way, with toppings, you’re looking at a $ 10-$ 12 frozen yogurt(self-serve). At least. That said, the location is very convenient, and there’s nothing else quite like it, nearby. Plus, I’m a tremendous fan of the original tart, non-fat option– with big chunks of fresh fruit, a little granola, and a tad bit of chocolate sauce too? Yes please! And, my toddler really loves being able to point and pick out what he wants. We’ll definitely make a habit of getting treats here!

I really like this place. I LOVE the different flavor choices and there is always something that one of my four children would like. The only problem that I have is thAt I think it is pretty pricey and, though I’m sure it’s posted somewhere, I never know how much I’m paying bc it’s measured by weight. So, I get the yogurt and put on my own fruit.

I would say it has potential. When I went there, the bathroom was out of order and the back of the store really smelled terrible. The interior of the store was unorganized, particularly in the check out area/behind the desk. The toppings bar is too small so that it is hard to reach items and it is crowded with people backing up into that area who are waiting to pay. If they clean up and get organized, it could be great.

A cute, trendy frozen yogurt/coffee shop tucked behind the Safeway/CVS shopping center and the only self-serve frozen yogurt shop, not to mention the only frozen yogurt shop in the McLean area(Sweet Leaf and Greenberry’s Coffee serve fro-yo on the side in addition to their main menu items). One star down for the price– $.59/oz, been to ~30 frozen yogurt shops in the Northern VA area and this is the highest I’ve encountered for self-serve other than Yolly Molly in Fairfax, which was the same price but that was because their yogurt was organic; one star down for the size of some of the fruit toppings– huge(thinking about those kiwis…), can’t see how you’re actually suppose to ‘top’ it on your yogurt if they’re cut into sizes more suitable for conveniently tossing right into your mouth. Flavors are good though. There’s 8 flavors, if I recall correctly, with the original tart, chocolate, vanilla, espresso, etc. I found it interesting how they have Chocolate and Strawberry Pepero Sticks which are not found elsewhere as toppings, and the first time I went, they actually had two kinds of mochi– regular white(coconut??) and green tea… now whaddaya know about that? I didn’t see the green tea after that though. I also suppose the costs might make sense considering it’s located in the glorious, well-to-do town of McLean…

The place is really nice and clean but the costs can really skyrocket without you noticing and can end up costing you a lot of money in a single visit
