Laguna Pointe Spa Salon & Day Resort

Called to make an appointment, and am so sad to see Laguna has CLOSED!
I loved going there for any service… clean & spacious. So after reading Unilocal reviews, I decided to try Jenny’s salon, which is right down the street from Laguna. Never a big fan of people who name businesses after themselves, but once I met Jenny, my opinion changed! She is genuinely one of the nicest salon owners I have ever met. Took time to say hello, even though she was very busy. Everyone who works is friendly, and there clearly enjoys their job.
I am very particular about my hair, and have had more success doing it myself. But I scheduled an appointment with April, and as far as my service, I have never been happier! She made my highlights pop like no one has before. She is very upbeat and listened to what I wanted, and then delivered!
Plus I had my bikini waxed by Samantha… very nice… most pain-​free wax ever, and not nearly as expensive as Laguna.
Again…sad to see Laguna go, but happy I found April at Jenny’s!

I was not impressed with Laguna Pointe– the employees were not friendly and the place was empty! I got a brief, barely audible thank-​you as I checked out from a snobby receptionist. Honestly, would not go back. I prefer my salon to be a friendly, upbeat atmosphere!

I am sad to say that I live far away from this place. I loved coming here regularly for a little me time whether it was microderm or a haircut. They have great staff and a great facility. It’s very clean and peaceful and perfect for a 1-​hr getaway. They carry a great line of organic products too «Sanitas» which I love. Karen is my go-​to when I happen to be in the area, she’s great for microderm, facials, and wax.
