Established in 2007.

The Monaghan family has served Richmond and surrounding areas for over 100 years.

Jerry and Kevin, funeral service licensees, worked for a large funeral home in Richmond combining over 60 years of experience. Their father and mentor, John Monaghan had over 40 years of service in the funeral industry before his passing in 2004.

We want to make sure every family feels as if they are our own and to make the experience as painless and dignified as possible. Since 2007, Monaghan Funeral Home has become a family tradition of serving every family with thoughtful care and compassion. Business Owner

Jerry graduated from Benedictine High School. He attended Belmont Abbey College, and then went on to John Tyler, receiving his degree in Mortuary Science. He has over 40 years of experience in the funeral industry.
