Sew Refreshing held it’s Grand Opening on January 12, 2013 with a ribbon cutting ceremony with heartwarming attendance by many of our new customers and friends. Sew Refreshing is not just a fabric and sewing store, it is a clean and modern studio space which is the perfect place to bring your projects and enjoy being creative. Sew Refreshing offers a variety of classes ranging from quilting to garment construction as well as appliqué’ and fabric painting. For those who are not inspired to create their own, the staff at Sew Refreshing can also do custom sewing, quilting and project work for you.

History

Established in 2012.

This «work of the heart» was started when the owner, Terri Helfrich, began sewing with her grandmother as a little girl. Terri saw a need in Mechanicsville and the East End of Richmond for a quality sewing and fabric studio and thus the journey continued… Be part of the future!
