This is a great little market. It’s like a Roche Bros but smaller. They carry nice looking produce and prepared foods. The bakery is nicely displayed. And the luncheon counter is very nostalgic. It’s a great place to pop in to get some quick breakfast pastry. Also a good place to pick up some quick groceries. I love the prepared food for takeout nights.

The prices are ridiculously high, even for Roche Bros. The atmosphere is elegant and really unique. The location is interesting, right on 109 near the library. It’s definitely an improvement on Lord’s. I just wish the prices were lower.

Erin was terrific at the ice cream counter. Seemed that they have a scheduling issue because she was all alone cooking serving and making ice cream. They need to have multiple ppl behind the counter.

I just love the place. The layout, the smiles on everyone’s face and It’s easy to get I and out quickly. The homemade items are very tasty, especially the Kale Salad and Lasagne. A fellow in the butcher area is absolutely hilarious too!

Bros. is just right, from the food counter making simple, but good food to the wide selection of baked goods and beverages. Great place to pick up prepared food if you run out of time at home. I am happy they are there and visit quite often. Amber is quite an asset to the store.

This is the EPITOME of what home town and great business practice is all about… I just had to share!!! My brother needed a couple things for his«special Thanksgiving recipe«that i didn’t have enough of. Panic sets in and everything closed. As a last ditch effort I called Brothers in Medfield on the off chance that they would be open.(Mind you it is 12:30 thanksgiving day!) A young woman by the name of Jen, not only answers the phone but informs me that she is available for 3 more hours to «help anyone in a last minute bind». NOTONLYDOESSHEGRABTHEITEMYOUNEED… BUTBRINGSITTOYOUATTHEDOORANDTRUSTSYOUTOCOMEBACKTOMORROWWITHPAYMENT!!! It just blew me away and once again made me proud to have picked medfield as my home!

The Brothers Market is excellent… so why two stars? Had breakfast there twice, sitting at the nice little«bar» they have around the grille area. The seats are terribly uncomfortable… they are at least 3 inches too tall(I’m 6ft 1in), and my feet don’t touch the small«rail» for your feet. Sitting there for over 5 minutes, and the circulation in your legs gets cut off. The seats are good looking and sturdy,(polished aluminum?) but they are just too hard and with that height and your feet dangling, the situation is extremely uncomfortable. Either lower the seats, or raise-up that foot block(against the bar).(Raising the footing is the cheap way out). I’ll keep coming for breakfast, but if I find the tables full, I won’t stick around for breakfast at the bar… its too painful. Fix it for Gods sake! All else: Great.

I went into this store a couple of weeks ago for the first time and had the best experience. When I walked in I immediately felt welcomed. I looked around and the staff was very welcoming and attentive. I ended up getting a quart of ice cream and Amber has to be one of the best employees. She was so nice and treated me as if she knew me personally. She gave great suggestions and was very nice. I sure will be coming back again soon.

This place tries to be healthy and allergy aware, but the staff is not trained to know anything. The first time I came and ate at the burger bar, they said they didn’t know whether or not the fresh root beer had caffeine. At first, no big deal. I just avoided the root beer in case it did. Today I went and ordered a sandwich at the sandwich bar and one of the guys at the counter asked me if I had any questions. I asked which sandwiches on the menu were made with in-house meat(advertised as hormone and antibiotic free). He answers, «let me ask for you.» He goes to the back and just laughs with his friend, never to return. Another guy comes up to me and asks me what I want to order. Again, I asked about which meats contained no additives or antibiotics, this time specifying that I was more so interested in the chicken sandwich. He goes, «uhhhh, I guess it’s hormone and antiobiotic free. I’m pretty sure. It’s just the same stuff we have in the case.» Well thanks for the help. Figuring that I’ll pay for it later if he’s wrong(long history of health complications), I ordered it. What reassured me was that the sandwich sign said«FRESHANDORGANIC» on it. However, after eating the sandwich, I have come to realize that the sandwich after all is not organic. It has nitrate bacon, already triggering my pain condition, so who even knows about the chicken. Do not go here if you are conscious about what you eat. They pretend to be healthy, but all of the prepared foods have zero ingredients on them. It’s deceiving since a majority of their groceries are the same found in whole foods. I’ll be sticking to whole foods from now on.

So happy this place went in! Would give them five stars, except there’s a few items, well, flavirs of items, that they don’t carry. I put in request cards, but they haven’t gotten them. Otherwise, their deli counter is amazing!

Amber does it again the most pleasant person. She is waitress, cook and takes care of you as if you were family ten stars for her. She cooks as well as dishes the ice cream, serves you at counter or table and fast. Great service good fresh food priced right

As a RBros shopper I was so excited to try Brothers. The pros– great quality and fresh produce, meat, and seafood. The bakery offers a delicious array of baked goods. The blueberry muffins are to die for! The general grocery part is small but perfect for grabbing those few things you seem to always forget or run out of. The café counter is very cute but could definatly do with out. The kids really seem to enjoy it however the food is just ok. The cons– I would of given it 5 stars however I think the prices are outrageous! The concept is very cute however doing a grocery store run would be a small fortune!

This place is amazing. We absolutely love it. I take my 4-year-old son in often for lunch and we are always waited on by the most upbeat, friendly woman, Amber. She is so wonderful and remembers my order each time. The products at this quaint little market are wonderful, they have excellent prices too. Not any different then Roche Bros, with equal quality of a Whole Foods market. The meats, seafood, and produce are always fresh. Baked items are delicious and the overall customer service is phenomenal. I absolutely love this place and highly recommend it to anyone.

Amazing little market place. I’ve always been a fan of Roche brothers but there’s something about this particular location that’s feels very fresh and homey. The food from the little diner is great. Tried a burger one day and then called ahead for a turkey club the next. Amber had quickly become my favorite employee there! She always is so bubbly and cheerful and not in a fake over trained chain restaurant type of thing or a regular New England… good n you? She actually connects with each person for a real conversation and it’s nice to know there’s still people like that. Nice job!

I am happy to announce that Brother’s Marketplace in Medfield is now supporting the Medfield Food Cupboard with regular contributions. I work part-time making awesome cappuccinos and delicious Brooklyn Water bagels in the café. Being new to the food industry, I was a bit squeamish in seeing how much food is wasted everyday. Now, we are doing something about it! Brother’s Marketplace is a great place to work, and I’d be happy to make you a first-class latte.

Very modernized small grocery store. Expensive but everything is fresh, delicious, and looks good. The deli is SO clean(comparing it to Shaws down the street), as well as the of the freezers and all of the aisles. The checkout is clean and quick as well as parking and the ice cream diner.

This is a super cute Market & Café. It is a Roche Bros spin off with a more quaint market feel. I had lovely cappuccino at the café then had the deli make me a sandwich prepared fresh to order. There is plenty of seating for dining inside. The Market interior is very modern with a clean vintage industrial loft design. I noticed they even sell grocery items made by local businesses. Next time I will have to sit at the bar and order a burger & a shake! Great addition to the area! **Food for thought** I wish they would install a public bike rack behind the building. I would love to bike there, fill my basket with groceries, and keep my bike safe.

What were the two things Medfieldians(–ites?) needed most? A high-quality, quick-bites-style, family-friendly eatery and an alternative to the only-game-in-town mediocre big box, low-quality grocery store. Well, Roche Bros. brought its A game when it rehabbed the long-dead Longs department store into its«urban»(?) Brothers Marketplace concept store. Sure, it took time to open, and townies probably cringe at the Bakelite-green façade, but it’s everything and a bag of chips. Packed into a pretty tight space is a grocery store complete with butcher counter and fish market and one heck of a produce selection, a diner/ice cream shop, and coffee shop/bakery… all in an extremely attractive and well– designed layout. Will Brothers hurt some local businesses like Honeys and Blue Moon, not to mention Shaws and even Starbucks? Likely. But it will do it in style. It’s great for Medfield families, and should be great for property values. Some might disagree, but I say goodonya, Roche Bros., goodonya.

The much anticipated Brothers Marketplace opened yesterday in Medfield. I’ve been looking forward to checking it out and I am impressed. The space looks great and everything looked fresh. Prices are higher than Shaws and Roche Brothers but the bakery items purchased were super yummy. I like that there is a diner and am looking forward to having both breakfast and lunch there. I have always liked the prepared foods at Roche Brothers, so I am sure the prepared foods at Brothers will be equally good(if not better). All of the employees I interacted with yesterday were extremely courteous and friendly, which is a good sign! Very glad this place is open and I intend on stopping by frequently!
