Ghazi’s Auto Service

Worst place ever! I have heard soo many great things about this place… until I had the worst experience for the last week and a half. PLEASE READ and let me know if you think this is fair. I had my vehicle towed there, knowing it was the fuel pump. Ghazi insisted it wasn’t and replaced the filter-​was very happy with that UNTIL I drove it about a mile, parked it and couldn’t start it back up. I had it towed back there again. It snowed so he had to move it quickly. To be able to start my car, he fiddled with the engine and told me that something had exploded and it would take a week for the part. I was ok with that. Fast forward to a week and a half later, which was yesterday-​Ghazi says it’s done and the keys are in the truck. TODAY, I go to pick it up and he tells me that I have to pay for a diagnostic $ 95. Ghazi never told me that he was running a diagnostic or even asked my permission. He was supposed to just fix what he broke and I was going to tow my vehicle elsewhere. Ghazi’s answer was that he is running a business and needs to make money. The police came and said by law that I have to pay the diagnostic fee. You better believe that I am taking him to court! My family has been without a car for over a week because of his incompetance! Great way to run a business.

I had a head light out and pulled in to see if they had a replacement bulb. He was on the phone and very busy but he quickly got my bulb and relpaced it on the spot. Great service.

We have four older cars and we’ve been customers of Ghazi for the last 7 years. I cannot say enough about how fortunate we are to have Ghazi’s Auto Service in our town. Ghazi takes care of our cars as if they were his own, minimizing the expense for current repairs, letting us know what’s necessary and what’s not, and what might need doing in 6 months but is fine for now so we can plan accordingly. Most of the time when we drop off a car we are mentally prepared to hear a much larger number than Ghazi tells us about what the car needs — how often does that happen with a car mechanic?
We’ve watched Ghazi’s Auto Service grow from a single man operation to the busy shop he has now, and he deserves every bit of that success — he is honest, trustworthy, hardworking and a pleasure to do business with!
