We specialize in delivering helpful, real world solutions & advice to pet owners in the Medfield, Medway, Millis, Sherborn, Walpole area. If you need help with choosing dog food, dog toys, collars, lead, supplements, a great dog groomer or really anything having to do with sharing your life with a dog, we’re the best go to place around. We excel at developing relationships with customers & their dogs which explains our long standing, loyal clientele. Stop in & shop with us, you’ll be pleasantly surprised!

History

Established in 2006.

After years of pet sitting the idea for a pet store was born. With humble beginnings (400 sq ft in Sherborn), Sniff Dawg is now in a 1300+ sq ft space in the heart of Medfield, Ma. We’re now branching out into our own line of products– tshirts, collars and more– we started with a booth at the start of the 2015 Boston Marathon to promote our Sniff Strong products!

Sniff Dawg is a convenient place for all of your pet needs. Mary is very friendly and knowledgeable about all things dog! Whether you are looking for a special dog food, new collar or leash, or have questions about dog care in general, Sniff Dawg is the place to go. It is great to have a local place to have your dog groomed, where you know your dog is treated like family.

I buy all my doggie supplies at Sniff Dawg. Mary, the owner is wonderful and very knowledgable about everything my dog needs to stay happy and healthy. If she doesn’t have what I am looking for she is more than happy to place a special order for me.
It’s unfortunate to see a couple of negative grooming reviews. I have my large dog groomed at Sniff Dawg and I’ve had nothing but great grooming every time!

I’ve been looking for a good groomer for my black lab for awhile and I’ve found one… Sniff Dawg!
I thought the price was very reasonable by the way. Even with the TIP.
I’ve seen the other posts here. one complaining about the price. one complaining about having to make a appointment and waiting a week or even 2.
Well, you know if you want a professional groomer to pamper your pet, if you are comfortable waiting for an appointment because the groomer takes the time to do each and every pet with care and doesn’t crank them out to do as many as she can. Then Sniff Dawg is the place for your pet.
If you’re in a hurry, want the lowest price, then take your pet to one of the big box stores and when you leave them there and you’re walking out. cross your fingers. Because like Forrest Gump said «It’s like a box of chocolates, you never know what you’re gonna get».
But at Sniff Dawg I know. (peace of mind) priceless!

Sniff Dawg is a fabulous small business! Great products, wonderful owner and staff. Way more convenient that schlepping all the way to Route 9 in the ‘ham.
And I have cats — not even dogs. The cat food selection is varied and my cats love the products and treats. Attractive store with a human scale feel. No 17 feet high shelves.
Mary, even has treats for humans. The sea salt caramels are addicting!

Unlike the run of the mill chain stores, Sniff Dawg provides a homey, casual and personal atmosphere that pets and their owners need and thrive on. I really like this place. Mary the owner is such an insightful person when it comes down to dogs and whats best for them. A little on the steep side on pricing but id rather pay that money knowing that she wants the best for pets.
